Great spot for bit of exercise for both the dog and ourselves.Even better if the weather is favourable.

Dirty and unkempt, dirty and unkempt, dirty and not worth the visit. What else can I say? Dirty... Move on down to Orlock point
Really not the most exciting place in North Down to visit, good for walking dogs and can be a pleasant walk on a nice day but not a great 'seaside' beach.
Not where I would take children on a lovely day. I would be concerned about glass in the sand and the water is not always clean. The presence of uncontrolled dogs was formerly a big turn off but this has been less noticeable recently, although there are still many dogs on the beach
without leads , regardless of the restrictions imposed by the Council.
The view of the Bay and the surrounding area is very impressive - with a lot of thought, work, and
above all, public awareness and respect for others, this beach could be returned to its former glory and become a place to be proud of. Somehow I don't think this will happen. A pity.......
However, it's nice to stroll on the walk way.
This is a great beach for young and old, Dogs cant go on all areas which as a dog owner Im ok with as there is plenty pf space for everyone and it is very clean and expansive
