We visited the gardens yesterday. Had fab weather and saw the garden in full bloom. Was very beautiful and relaxing to stroll around. Free entry & a coffee shop on site.

A beautiful place to visit. Lovely to walk around with benches scattered around to sit and relax. A beautiful fountain is surrounded by fabulous plants and vegetation. A great little cafe in the middle and a lovely old restored bandstand. Truly a hidden gem in Bangor.

Considering this is a North Down Borough Council attraction I was pleasantly surprise, but then the old problem arises of dog owners fouling up the place.

Dogs should not be allowed at all in this attraction - it is made up of delicate garden flowers etc and to have dogs run amok in the place is just a joke - they should not be there at all. Come on NDBC, take a stand and be practical, dog owners don't care about this place but we do.

Step inside an oasis of calm and beauty. Have been coming here since it first opened and it has been a delight to see the plants and trees mature. I always bring visiting family and friends and they love it. Sometimes I have a quiet picnic by myself and read a book. I often just walk straight through to see what is in bloom. The surrounding parkland is lovely. New coffee area is a good addition. Even the toilets are a pleasure to use!!!
Wish it would open later at weekends and bank holidays.
Can't thank whoever thought to spend money on opening this place up enough. A true visionary.
