having stayed in this hotel before it was the perfect place to stay when attending an evening wedding party at the nearby folk museum. We arrived early and our room was ready, rooms are large and bright, everything you need in them, ensuite spotless. We booked bed breakfast and evening meal and as before not disappointed, the meals and the sevice in the restaurant are excellent. Overall, staff very helpful and friendly, will definitely be returning.

We had our wedding at the clandeboye lodge hotel. I could not fault a thing and it has to be noted that I am the fussiest bride and we viewed tons of venues.

We got excellent feedback from all of our guest especially about the food. The staff were friendly and helpful. One member in particular Chris who made our wedding day stress free. From the food, accommodation, room and staff everything was 5 star. .

In the past 8 months my wife and I have attended two wedding receptions in this hotel. I have
left the review late as I did not wish to cause offence to my hosts. I did not stay overnight so cannot comment on the rooms etc. At both weddings the food and service were very good.
After the meal, both times, guests waited in the large reception area until the function room was set up for the evening. Several hours after the evening functions started, the reception area was still cluttered with empty glasses coffee cups and plates etc., including the ones I had used. Later in the evening the male toilets were filthy, with the paper towel bins overflowing and strewn on the wet floor. My wife had told me that the condition of the ladies was even worse. The only staff available at the evening functions were bar staff, who were not interested in the state of the toilets.
This was not a one off as we both experienced the same situation on both occasions.

Room Tip: Unable to comment as we did not stay and are very unlikely ever to.

We just had our wedding here yesterday and it was the most amazing day, the hotel, wedding venue and staff are beyond brilliant, they would go out of their way to help with anything and our big day went perfectly. The rooms are brill and the foods great. My bridal party stayed the night before so we saw all sorts of rooms and all were lovely

Thank u to everyone at the clandeboye

Recently had our wedding here and can't rate it high enough.
From the moment we enquired to the big day itself the service we got was exceptional.
Everyone made comments about how great the food was and those that stayed all rated the hotel itself very highly.
Ian who organised the day was fantastic and Stuart who spent the whole day making sure everything ran ok was excellent. All the staff we met where great, all helpful and made us feel like we were the only people in the hotel.
Anyone thinking about here as a wedding venue....BOOK :)
Now can't wait for our anniversary stay :)

Pre booking excellent, check in simple and efficient, staff very helpful, cheerful and efficient. Breakfast excellent, dinner very good, cleanliness excellent, check out simple, really what else do you need to know?
We arrived as a family and had three rooms and no complaints whatsoever. Three nights there and although we only had dinner once it was very good and the service even at breakfast time in the restaurant was excellent. We used the car to travel where we wanted to go most of the time, but on the few occasions we did use local taxis they were not expensive and very cheerful and helpful. Walking is not really an option at this location.

Visted Clandeboye for a family wedding in September 2013. A wonderful few days in an excellent environment with absolutely nothing to complain about. The venue and wedding package were first class. The staff couldn't have been more helpful and were always smiling and offering to help at all times. The whole experience was made all the better as the children in the family party were able to be themselves . All added to a wonderful, relaxing and joyous occassion from the oldest member (87) to the youngest (7 months) in our party.

Room Tip: All rooms were good quality and comfortable. Good access for disabled/wheelchair access.
