very chic and modern restaurant. food was good quality as you would expect from an establishment like this. only downside was the service, other people arriving after us were served before we were, by the time we got our food , other people had finished theirs.

Myself and my partner attended a formal that took ace recently at the hotel! And right from the second we arrived the staff were fantastic! When entering the large function room it was obvious of the amount of detail and work that had went into ensuring the room looked sensational and they defiantly didn't disappoint! The staff at the bar were friendly and the staff that served the meal were the same! The food was out of this world! And they catered for everyone's appetite! The desert was outstanding and was a masterpiece in its self! After the meal there was entertainment and again throughout the waiting staff were professional and friendly! I would defiantly return to the hotel even if just for a meal in the restaurant! :) 5 stars!

We have been a couple of days to Ireland with my family and have stayed at Clandeboye Lodge It was a great experience in the hotel as well as in Ireland. On entering the hotel, we were greeted in the Dutch! The rooms were superb, with a nice bathroom with enough towels (handy with children!) We had an older bathroom and the children had a new bathroom. But they told us that all the bathrooms were replaced. In the room we were able to drink coffee and tea, delicious and there were tasty apples! The food was also delicious and enough, even for the children. The breakfast was very tasty and not so much that we almost could not do it. In Short; a very good stay with friendly service, value for money.

My husband and I stayed in one of the Junior Suites on saturday night. I was very impressed! The room was extremely spacious and had everything we needed to make us feel welcome and comfortable. The decor in the room was modern but classy, the bathroom was absolutely fabulous with a large rainforest walk in shower.

All the staff were friendly, pleasant and helpful.

We had dinner and breakfast at the hotel. The food was delicious and the restaurant staff were attentive. I even loved the shape of the wine glasses and tableware, a little bit different from normal restaurants. The attention to detail in this hotel sets it above the rest! Definitely worth a visit!

Booked an Executive Room for two night weekend break - on entering the room it was lovely and spacious but very cold - thermals required - not very romantic then! Bathroom was very small and dated NO WOW factor and certainly NOT like the photos of the modern suite on the website. Dinner that evening was 'ok'(soup was cold) and felt food was bit pricey for average meal and again would have needed my fleece to keep me warm!
After a good nights sleep in the lovely comfy bed we were unable to make ourselves a morning cuppa as there were no milk portions or ordinary teabags left (we had already used them the night before). Note also need to bring your own biscuits as not provided on hostess tray in room. There was also no fridge which is surprising with it being a **** hotel.
Breakfast on the other hand was completely different to our dining experience the previous night. The cooked breakfast was excellent - warm, very delicious produce and eggs cooked to perfection! My only gripe we felt the pure orange was watered down and a waste bin should be provided at side of buffet area.
The friendly staff are a credit to the hotel and with the peaceful setting made this weekend break for us

Room Tip: If booking an Executive Room make sure you get one that has the wow factor bathroom as advertised in...

My partner and I got married here and it was wonderful. Food was amazing, staff so attentive, an overall experience I couldnt fault. Rooms were super clean, facilities in general great. I would recommend here for a wedding venue as well as accommodation. It welcomes families greatly, they couldnt do enough for my little girl (2 yrs).

My wife and I booked in to stay at the hotel last Thursday evening. We were welcomed by a friendly and relaxed member of staff for check in. We were well impressed with the room facilities particularly the Nespresso coffee machine! We had coffee and scones in the afternoon before having dinner in the Coq and Bull restaurant that evening.

We both thought the setting, atmosphere and the food in particular were of excellent quality and thoroughly enjoyed the meal and wine. The cocktails were also delicious.

I look forward to returning to the hotel and in particular the Coq and bull restaurant in the near future.
