We got a fantastic offer for 2 nights and one evening meal, the staff were very friendly and treated us like regulars- which we found very welcoming. The meal was great, try the cranachan for desert- i was only disappointed i had enjoyed the other two courses that much i didnt have room to finish the tasty rasberry cranachan.. We spent the day in Bangor which is a fantastic town and even had a wee trip into Newtownards. over all a truly enjoyable week end.

We chose this hotel from the internet, because of its location and special off it was running during April. We booked for the 3 night package Wed to Sat along with another couple who had never been to NI before. Right from our arrival at reception we were impressed. The service, the food and the rooms were fantastic. We stayed in the executive rooms on the top floor as part of the deal, so cannot comment on other rooms. The executive rooms are large, well equiped and clean. All the staff gave the impression they enjoyed their work and were always polite and friendly. Nothing was too much bother. I think there is no doubt that we will be using this hotel again for our base for our next visit.

Last Saturday we celebrated our 25th annivesary of our Equestrian Centre.  We chose to book the Clandeboye Lodge Hotel as it is centrally located for my clients.  On our initial enquiry we were made very welcome and the event staff put my mind at rest that they would work with me and my whacky ideas without any problems.  They helped me overcome my lack of knowledge of how to run such an event, educated me on the use of sound systems for my live singers and reassured me throughout all the organisation. On the night the events manager and the chef were very accomodating as my numbers grew from 182 to 198. The food came out on time, hot, tasty and well presented, the staff were frindly and efficient and all in all it was an excellent night.  My cliets who attended now want to make it an annual event!  We had arranged the D.J. (Amanda) and she read the room brilliantly, there was a full dance floor all night, which was quite a challenge as th age group ranged from 12 to 82.  Several of our guests stayed in the hotel that night and we all met at breakfast having had a good sleep and ready to return to our normal busy lives well partied but also well rested.Congratulations to the hotel staff and management on first class service.

Always a friendly welcome at the Clandeboye and not just at reception. Effortless check-in luxurious bedrooms, the most comfortable beds and super bathrooms. Clandeboye is situated in the countryside yet within easy reach of Bangor and Belfast. Pheasants and rabbits can be seen from rooms. A golf club is up the road and a nearby forest walk very necessary to walk off an Ulster Fry. The dinner menu is varied and extensive - something for everyone and of top quality. We love the variety of short breaks available suitable for every pocket we would be hard pushed to find anything to say against the Clandeboye - you will be well looked after there.

This is a great place to get a break. Food is above average and would rate it 5 star. Loaction is great for shopping in Belfast, local culure is near by and great place if you love walking along the coast. 16 miles of good pathway.
Staff are very friendly and helpful. Will return to this hotel hopefully in the near future.
