Clean, comfy and warm B&B in converted stables. Great bed, powerful shower and silent surroundings. Very good breakfast in the pub, plus some great beers for the evening and a friendly landlord. Great value.

I stayed at the Robin Hood inn in January 2013, I stayed over for a quiet break, and explore of the area and nearby Macclesfield which is only 10mins away! Evening meals are reasonably priced and filling, I personally went for the Beef and mashed potato, with peas, and gravy sitting in a large square Yorkshire pud meal, very tasty and well presented. The Breakfasts were tasty, generous, and filling. The staff were very friendly, welcoming and courteous, always happy to help. If you bump into the groundsman, he`s very knowledgeable of the area, and always up for a chat! The accomodation was comfortable, clean, and quiet, and well maintained. I would definately come back again, gets the thumbs up from me, Recommended.

Stayed for three nights in November. Room was very comfortable, clean and quiet.
Breakfasts were filling and well presented.
Ate at the pub each evening and the meals were very good and you will never leave hungry. Variety was very good and the staff were friendly and approachable.
Steve, the manager, was an excellent host.
The pub also has several locally produced ales to drink and these were also of a very high standard.
If you are traveling through this area, this is the place to stay to experience good accommodation, good food, great ales and marvelous people

We stayed for one night in October and took all 4 rooms staying over for a family gathering.
The rooms were all comfortable, clean and warm with everything we needed.
We ate at the pub in the evening and the staff were all very firendly and helpful, and the food was good value, tasty pub grub.
The breakfast in the morning was of good quality, well cooked and if anything possibly too much of it.
In all a great value, comfortable place to stay.

Went to the Robin Hood as a family of 3 last week at lunchtime. We got there just before 12oclock but were still welcomed and could take a seat.
We had a each had a main meal and was lovely and home cooked. I personally had the lasagne, which I would recommend. A decent size portion, two pieces of garlic bread and well-presented and tasty salad. I have already recommended this pub to my grandparents, who are planning to go tomorrow!
The bar man was also very friendly and professional, which aided a good meal!

We stayed in the Robin Hood Inn on our way up to Scotland in January 2012. Our room was in a converted outbuilding at the back of the pub. It was quite small but had everything we needed, and they were more than happy to let us keep our labrador with us. In the evening we ate in the pub and it just happened to be the pie and pint night. After an excellent cheese and onion pie and local pint of brew I was ready for a good sleep, which is exactly what I got, even though the pub is on the main road through Rainow.
I would recommend this pub and its accommodation for a night or two as Rainow is lovely.
