Three of us stopped off here by chance after biking through the Macc Forest. Arriving cold and wet we departed warm and replete. The thick hearty soup was delicious and the toasties just right. The owner is indeed fabulous. Thank you for helping us find our way onto the Middlewood Way so easily. And Joy Division were playing on the radio while we were there. What's not to like?.

Highlight of a great day and much better than Wetherspoons.

Inca is just great! The food is always brilliant and the cakes are truly to die for! Everything is served with great presentation so you know a lot of love has gone into it! Great that its also open in the evenings with some brilliant musicians. A little gem of a place with a fabulous owner who puts her heart and soul into the place x

I have been going to Inca for lunch since it opened and must spend 3 out of 5 lunch hours there every week. The food is excellent ,unusual menu and all carefully prepeared to order.Claire is a true perfectionist and all her dishes are tasty and delicious. Her home made soup is wonderful. When it started opening in the evenings it ecame a regular evening haunt too!
Once you have been a few times, you can pop in at any time and find someone to chat to (even if it is only the friendly chatty Jo or Anitha behind the bar. In the summer the garden is a real sun trap - ideal for a quick boost of Vit D during lunch!!
The musical evenings are brilliant and Claire is working hard to provide unusual evening topics to suit all tastes - she also gives time and space to local photograpers and artists.
The only negative to Inca is - it is too small!

I've been going to inca since it first opened as a cafe. Food is excellent, clean and inventive. Now it's a bar. Ditto with top beer and wine. Crowd is friendly, and fun, and there's always loads of cool stuff going on. Two mins from train station. Macclesfield would be a cultural desert without places like inca. Love it xx
