This is great spot for a short walk amongst the hills overlooking Macclesfield. There is a car park with reasonable charges, £1.75 for a couple of hours. A visitor centre with toilets too. Some of the walk takes you up hill to a disused quarry, we took our son in his push trike which whilst tiring for me at least meant he could get up to the top when his legs got tired. Plenty of walkers about exercising their dogs and a pleasant way to spend a couple of hours. Tip - don't stop at The Leather Smithy for over priced sandwiches just buy a drink!
