Stayed for one night at the pub, we were warmly welcomed by the staff who could not do enough. The room was basic but quite adequate with a good sized bathroom. The food however was excellent we both had lamb and black pudding in a wine sauce which we really enjoyed. All in all a great place to stay if you are in the area, we certainly would stay again if only for the food.

Room Tip: Just go with the flow I would consider all the rooms are nice and quiet with country views.

We have stayed and eaten here many times and have received a fantastic service every time. The staff are very polite and helpful, they can't do enough for you. The rooms are lovely, they are bright, clean and really cosy. The pub itself is wonderful, it has a lovely relaxed atmosphere, you feel like you've stepped back in time with the beautiful timber and low ceilings. The food is a probably their best attribute. Absolutely superb. You know it's right when four people all say it's the best steak they have had.

We have eaten at their sister pub the Brownlow in Congleton and the Ryles Arms is as superb. The staff are attentive with excellent timing of service. The food is just wonderful as well as the atmosphere. As always cannot wait to dine there again.

Don't take any notice of any below average reviews, they have issues not the Ryles Arms

    See you soon

we regularly visit the ryles arms and are never disappointed, the portions r big and hearty, lots of nice starters with whitebait a personal favourite which you don't see in many pubs. Lots of attentive staff the place has a great atmosphere and the steaks are first class as long as you don't have them well done!!!

I went with my wife and mum to the Ryles arms for the first time as a Coeliac (wheat intolerance) the staff and chef very helpful. I always recommend this place to others. The atmosphere is good and the menu has a lot on it and there is always something on the special board that peaks your interest. I strongly suggest you try it out.
