“wonderful stained glass”
Reviewed 29 March 2014

It's an astonishing surprise to find that Philip Webb's only church is tucked away in Brampton. Lovely rich red sandstone, and wonderful stained glass windows by Burne-Jones and William Morris. Who knew?

“Beautiful church”
Reviewed 26 August 2012

This is worth a visit, it's usually open during the day. The stained glass windows are stunning, designed by the Pre Raphealites.

“Burne-Jones windows”
Reviewed 8 August 2012

The windows were made by William Morris & Co. and the church is designed by Philip Webb so it is an authentic Pre-Raphaelite church - the only one they designed. The windows are amazing!

“Stunning windows.Privileged to have seen them”
Reviewed 30 July 2012

Unexpected delight. Beautiful, original artwork . Pre Raphaelites at their best. Darkness of church enable the celebration of the light and colour of the windows. Go and see them.
