“Very nice tea shop”
Reviewed 17 July 2014

We stopped for tea around 4pm at the Trout Farm just outside Brampton. A nice place, serving a raspberry bakewell served with cream and a strawberry. Very good tea - Suki Belfast brew. The owner Kate Goode was very pleasant.

“A Hidden Gem”
Reviewed 24 June 2014

I was staying with a friend who drove us to New Mills for lunch. Had I have been on my own , I would have driven past, as I have little interest in trout fishing, and I had no idea that such a great lunch was available. An interesting menu, with something for everyone. I had the smoked trout pate, served with a imaginative salad , and super bread. A very well presented and appetising platter. I would like to have bought produce from the venue, but non was available at the time , but I understand this aspect of the business is being developed. We had a cheerful welcome from the staff , and were well looked after. I must find an excuse to go back!

“Wonderful Kids Birthday Party at New Mills Trout Park”
Reviewed 26 April 2014

We’ve just returned from a wonderful kids Birthday party at new mills Trout Park. All the kids had a fantastic time, everyone caught blue and rainbow trout. The staff could not do enough to help the children, and all the rods, reels, bait were supplied. The food from Bite Café is all homemade, the scones and cakes are delicious.
I could not recommend a day at New Mills Trout Park enough. Thanks for a great Party..

“great fishing and great food at bite cafe.”
Reviewed 20 April 2014

Very helpful staff, caught 3 trout in about an hour, both children enjoyed it again,we also had lunch at the new Bite cafe, now downstairs, renovated and outside seating area.We had the Trout Chowder with home made warm bread roll,it was absolutely amazing, very fresh, filling and full of chunks of trout. Many choices on the menu catering for all tastes and home made cakes looked very good.Well worth a visit, and worth going just for the cafe, also easy to park near to the door for less abled walkers.
Will be back.
