Booked this last minute as had to go to Bodmin just for one night stay. Could not have been better. Room was great. Lovely en suite shower room. Sarah had thought of everything and was very welcoming. There was a bathrobe and lovely big towels. There were tea and coffee making facilities, along with a small cafetiere and little jar containing ground coffee. The photos on trip advisor are exactly how the Roscrea looks. I had the 'beige' bedroom as can be seen in 3 of the photographs. Very clean and comfortable. Room overlooked the garden and on the windowsill even had binoculars and a book on small garden creatures - wonderful. House has so much character. Is on a farily busy road, so if you are at the front not sure if there would be any noise.

In the morning had a lovely full English breakfast with toast and Sarah's own home made jams.
Sarah booked the taxi for me to leave, which arrived on time. Was sad to have to go.

Can recommend without reservation. There is one room without an ensuite so make sure you know which room you have booked.

Room Tip: Just ensure you have booked a room with an en suite if you require this.

Staying at Roscrea was by far the best B&B experience we've ever had... It's a delightful house and garden - Sarah does everything to make you feel at home. The room was so pleasant that we had trouble making ourselves go out. Breakfast was absolutely perfect, we particularly enjoyed the homemade bread and jams. The atmosphere was so relaxing that we're already trying to find excuses to go back to Bodmin.

Room Tip: We had a room with a view of the garden which was perfect.

I recomend this place to everybody! Sarah is very nice person, she helped us a lot, she was always very nice. The rooms are perfectly clean, warm and lovely!!! Food was excelent. The whole place is very cozy and next time I will go to visit Cornwall I will make sure to stay here. Also I was pleasantly surprised that there was a chance of shower gel not tested on animals. Really excellent place!

I have stayed in dozens of B and B's over the years in all parts if the UK and it is no exaggeration to say that this is one of the best, if not THE best I have ever had the privelage of staying in. Everything is perfect, the rooms and decoration are superb, the guest lounge inviting, the breakfast delicious but most of all the welcome from Sarah to us two very soggy cyclists was wonderful. Thank you Sarah for looking after us so well.

Room Tip: They are all brilliant

My husband and I happened upon Roscrea back in August when travelling through England. What a gem of a place. Sarah is the consumate hostess with all her lovely home-made goodies and quirky collector pieces dotted throughout the place. We had a lovely room at the front of the house and did not notice any noise from traffic as the windows appeared to be double glazed. The supply of Daphne du Maurier books on the mantle piece in our room just invited you to curl up on the bed or in a comfy chair and wile away a few hours with a good story.

Unfortunately, we did not have time to really appreciate this wonderful B&B but would love to come back one day for quite a few days to absorb the ambience and explore the Cornwall/Devon area a lot more.

Sarah's breakfasts are also magnificent and all served on lovely china with home-made jams and other treats.

Can't recommend Roscrea highly enough.

Room Tip: Book in for more than one night!

This is a very traditional and well serviced B and B. Sarah is a very welcoming host and made me feel that nothing was too much trouble. She cooked the most delicious breakfast i think Ive ever had, with her own chickens eggs, honey from her own been hive, locally sourced bacon and sausage, and home made preserves. The bedroom was very comfortable and the bathroom absolutely spotless. I would definitely recommend Roscrea, and hope to return again.
