“lovely B & B, friendly and tranquil”
Reviewed 4 August 2014

We booked this very last minute, and arrived very late to this lovely B & B, and we were greeted by Jill, who seemed that nothing was too much. We stayed in the honeysuckle room, which was separate from the rest of the house, which was perfect for us. The room was well furnished, with plenty of cupboard space etc. The bathroom/en-suite was spotlessly clean and equally well equipped. A big bonus for me was that they provided proper milk in a little flask, over the uht version that you can get. The bed was a large double, and the mattress firm, the pillows etc were feather, which if i had been staying longer may of requested polyester as im a little allegrgic, which i am sure would not of been a problem. Breakfast was amazing !!!!! HOT HOT HOT, perfect for us, with ample portions, and seemed most tastes were catered for. For me the only slight problem was this B & B was very remote, and the signage could be better, Jill informed me that when guests book in advance, they send directions, as 'SATNAV'S can be slightly misleading!!

Room Tip: Loved our honeysuckle room, there is another separate room next door , perfect if you dont want to b...

Such a beautiful spot, quite a long way down a lane, but worth it when you get there. Excellent rooms and beautiful garden to sit in with lovely views. They even phoned and booked us in for an evening meal at a nearby pub. Rooms were clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was all you would have wanted and more. Will return if I am in the area again.

My husband, brother and l went to stay at Tregallist farm for 3 nights, shame it could not have been longer but thats life.
Jill welcomed us, showed us to our rooms and made sure we were ok at all times.
The breakfast was the best English cooked breakfast we had ever eaten, nice and hot and lots of choices of cereals, museli, grapefruit and orange juice.
Jill was never in our business and yet was always there to direct us to where we needed to visit.
The B&B was so quiet and the beds so comfortable we all slept all night, not like you may have a sleepless night on your first night...it just did not happen. The TVs were all set to a maximum volume so you wont be bothered by other peoples TV, a smashing idea.
We were all sad to be leaving this beautiful home and its close proximity to all locations we wished to visit. Port Isaac is not to be missed at any costs and is barely 3 miles away.
We would love to go back when we had more time and know we would be just as welcome. Try it for yourselves.

If you're looking for peace and quiet, off the beaten track, this is the place for you. The property is at the end of a quiet lane so you won't have to worry about traffic noise keeping you awake. Nothing but the sounds of nature and beautiful Cornwall countryside are outside your window. A great place to relax.

We stayed here for two nights in September and had a wonderful time. The bedrooms were spacious and clean and had everything we needed - and more. Milk and tea were placed in the rooms in the afternoon, the breakfast was made to order (after a week of the FULL English breakfasts we simply wanted oatmeal and toast and it was perfect!)
Jill was so helpful - and even sent me an item I had left in our room. Would stay again if ever back in the Cornwall area.

Have made several repeat visits to Tregellist Farm. It is situated down country lanes near the unspoilt village of St. Kew. As such it is an ideal place to stay when visiting this part of Cornwall being in close proximity to Padstow, Port Isacc and the beautiful North Cornwall coast. The owner, Jill Cleave, is great host. Very friendly and helpful whilst respecting guests needs for privacy. The Farmhouse is excepionally clean and the bedrooms comfortable and well appointed. The breatfast is first class as Jill sources most of the ingredients locally. Plenty of places within a short drive for food and drink. Would particularly recommend the St. Kew Inn. Looking forward to our next visit.
