“Best Permier Inn so far”
Reviewed 11 November 2013

This one is the best to date, I stay in alot of premier inn's and most are good but this one takes 1st place so far, nice hotel room, good size, clean all you would expect the staff are friendly, this continues into the restaurant were they even go up a mark, the staff cannot do enough for you and the food was very good, really enjoyed staying in this hotel.

Stayed here for work last month - a very polite welcome from the receptionist, who then informed me that the heating wasn't working in the room I'd booked and that the engineer had let them down. She went to look for an electric radiator, but it was already in use somewhere else, so I said not to worry, as I hadn't put the heating on at home yet anyway. I like getting a choice of pillow firmness and had a good night's sleep in the end! Shame the bar next door was out of Tribute... The only ale they stock! When will these chains work out that lager is in decline and ales are what the punters want these days? Also the rooms are cheap, but breakfast is really expensive!

We stopped here for a night whilst we visited the eden project. The welcome from Alana at reception was warm and welcoming . the rooms really clean and comfortable with,as always, amazingly comfortable beds. Alana booked us a table in the restaurant next door where we had a delicious meal served by the friendly and helpful Jodie. It was perfect and a much welcome and needed rest . thank you premier inn, the formula always works !

Stayed at this one three times now,and I must say it's never been a bad experience!only one minor mark is a bit of a grubby bath, black mould On some tiles and the bath grips were going rusty, but as I say,no other issues.staff go above the call of duty to be helpful, special mention must go to Bella, who could show most others how to do it!table table restaurant was very good.recommended.

After meeting up with family, we decided to stay overnight rather than drive the 20 miles home. We ate in the restaurant and the food was fine, however, the Costa coffee was rubbish. Those who do like it are really not used to GOOD coffee.
The room was clean, and reasonable value, but if you want to stay on a whim at 10pm at night, I think the rooms should be more reasonably priced. The price should reflect the offers available, not paying full price after spending a fair amount in the restaurant and bar.
I didn't sleep well because the rooms were too hot, and the bed too hard to be comfortable.
Generic hotel, generic prices. Not really my cup of tea, but overall, clean and acceptable.

Warm welcome from staff, room was clean and a decent size. Tv is a bit old but works fine and does the job so not a big deal. The restaurant was nice, quick service, nice food and staff friendly an informative. Asda right next door so good for a quick shop.

Requires a good up date, only a normal size double bed and a small CRT television which had not been updated to include all available channels. No loo brush in bathroom plus noisy extract fan. Service in restaurant slow and breakfast fry up not to normal standard ,mushrooms watery, bacon a cheap cut, sausages not very tasty and I had a mosquito on my baked beans when they bought it to my table after a 15 minute wait, they did change the plate with in a in a few minutes when I complained.
I have had much more enjoyable and cheaper stays at other premier Inns
