Christmas party night! Fantastic food, great atmosphere and lovely staff. What more could you want!
This was not the first time we had been there either, they catered our wedding reception. The food and hospitality was second to none, nothing was too much bother. Food literally melted in your mouth at the sit down meal and the evening buffet was just stunning. Lovely clean rooms and no pressure.

On Thursday 6th we had a delishious dinner at the Hoi An restaurant. An excellent meal with the genuine flavour of Hoi An, a fascinating small historic town in Viet Nam, where I've been 4 times. The food and service were excellent and for a time I could imagine I was in Viet Nam.

Room is nice , Basic , bathroom is clean , one thing I would say is I don’t like the fact that the restaurant is Vietnamese , it’s very limiting, I don’t like that sort of food so you have to go elsewhere to eat .
For this reason I would not book here again . It’s more a stop off hotel then a destination hotel.

Dear Mr Knight,
Thank you very much for your review. I'm sorry to hear that you found our restaurant menu limiting and felt obliged to go somewhere else to eat. Even though the restaurant has a Vietnamese name, it serves international
cuisine and our kitchen team is an international one (English, Thai, Philippino) under the supervision of a French head chef. We are pleased to be able to offer a wide range of both Oriental and Western dishes including
(e.g.,) steaks, burgers, chicken New Yorker, grilled fish, flambéed beef and chicken fricassée, and we hope that this offer a more-than-adequate range of choices which will allow couples or groups with different tastes to be able
to enjoy a meal together at the same table. There is a menu in every room, so we would encourage you and all our guests to review what we have on offer in our restaurant before deciding where to eat.

Best wishes,
Westberry Hotel & Restaurant

I stayed here one night whilst on the way to Bodmin Parkway for train home.
They only had double rooms remaining and wouldn't give a price reduction for single occupancy. Poor.
The hotel is accessible by bus and is close to town centre facilities.
Most of the cheaper rooms are in an annex, but that is no real problem.
I asked for a room with bath and they were accommodating.
The room was fine with decent facilities.
The bathroom a little tired but lots of hot water for my bath!
The sound insulation between rooms and floors was not very good.
Breakfast was relatively civilised with a good cooked selection which were produced quickly for a change.
Standard businessman's stopover.
Expensive for what it is.

On a short trip to Cornwall we wanted a stopover with comfortable rooms and a good restaurant because it was our wedding anniversary. To our delight the Dinner was superb. The combination of both Thai and western choices opened the door to quite exceptional flavours which delighted our palates. The staff and hostess were also very kind and attentive
