We had a last minute let down with our Hogmanay plans and was delighted to hear the Burnett Arms was still able to take bookings for their year-end party plans. The Manager and team was fantastic. We were showed around the venue, told of the layout and plans for the Hogmanay and made to feel very welcome indeed. We booked a table of 7 people and had a really great evening. Supper was provided, the entertainment ran the whole evening and the dancing during the night presented lots of fun, a great laugh and entertaining time.

We have eaten here on numerous occasions and each time the food has been very tasty. The waitresses are always polite and service, even during busy times, has been efficient. We would recommend it to those who like basic good food.

Liked location, wide pub menu, good service, friendly staff. Not sophisticated, but you weren't after that were you? Bar toilet needs upgrading. On occasions, snacks are served free of charge with drinks. What a good idea!

My friend and I popped in for soup and sandwich on Monday afternoon. The waitress was not friendly, i think she couldn't be bothered to serve us. She came to the table and said, what soup do you want, maybe if we had a clue what soup they had to over we could of told her. We decided on the chicken soup which we never ate as we think it was just chicken stock in a bowl and they had the nerve to charge us £3-50 for that. We got the wrong bread for our sandwiches, ordered brown, we got white, my egg mayo sandwich had shell in it, once I crunched that between my teeth on two bites I was put off. We ordered two cokes, came in pint glasses. Will not be going back there, over priced and unfriendly staff....
