I stayed at Smiths Hotel from 7th April - 11th April, went with Nova tours. I went with my mum, we stayed in room 33. Newly refurbished, spotlessly clean, hot water any time of day, and a sea view which was a pleasant surprise, room very quiet. Minus point no grab rail in shower.
On arrival seated in lounge with a cuppa and the team organised rooms and dining room table, very civilised. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff, very accommodating. The evening meal however was rather limited, only 2 choices plus salad, was well cooked but this was the only minus point. But to be fair to the hotel they do cater for different special requests. The breakfast was a corker, no worries there.
Bar prices not bad. £3.85 for a glass of wine, £1.75 for half a local cider, and £1.85 for half of premium spanish lager. About the same as a pub, and usually hotel prices are a bit higher.
There is an old fashioned cage lift which is fine, there are only 2 floors.
I would go back to Smiths again, and Weston is a lovely town if you want to chill!
Thank you very much!More
