Stayed for one night after south west live! Stayed in 212. Room and bathroom seemed clean enough, the bathroom was tiny, glad I'm not an over big person. We thought the kettle was in a dangerous position especially when the hair dryer fell of the wall and nearly knocked the kettle flying! The toilet downstairs needs looking at tiles missing, leaking toilet, felt like a back street public toilet.

Stayed here for one night with my partner after staying the previous night at the nearby Cabot court hotel. It was a pretty average stay. Staff seemed friendly enough. They have a bizarre policy of not allowing you to have the TV remotes for your room unless you place a £10 deposit in cash. We paid £50 for our room which i though was a little steep for what we actually got. Our bed was not particularly comfortable and was two single beds pushed together rather than a proper double. The room seemed clean, and the bathroom was also clean. We stayed the night before at the 4* cabot court hotel which was far far superior in every aspect, and seeing that they were both the same price, i would not stay at the York again.

i have stayed at this hotel for one night and am so glad i never booked for longer, we had room 211 which is at the back and all you can hear are the extractor fans from next door.
it was a terrible room and the bottom of the bed was filthy dirty.
the staff and food were excellent. ideally located for all the night life and beach but would not stay there again.
