This is a really good place to go for a shared meal with friends when you want time to catch up with each other. The actual food is of a very high standard, certainly if you use the main menu rather than the mixed price meal (which I can't comment on). There were six of us, choosing four different meals, and they were all very nice. I especially recommend the pork steak with peaches in a pepper sauce! The food does not appear quickly, and we were there well over two hours. I think there were two lots of people who arrived quite soon before us, so that might have been a factor. But it was just what we wanted. There isn't an extensive wine list, but it is OK and Chenin Blanc we had was very pleasant. Also good value, we thought.

Great meal. Went here after booking (weekend booking recommended) with hubby and his son. The food was lovely. My pork main was very nice and the men liked theirs too. Nice service, nice ambience. It is nice to support independent restaurants rather than chains so i would definitely recommend

We have eaten twice at the The Grove Bistro within the past couple of weeks, on both occasions the food has been excellent. We ordered from the £10.50 menu and found both starter and main to be plentiful and delicious; both of us had trouble finishing our meals.
This is good quality, freshly prepared food served in pleasant surroundings. Recommended without hesitation.

My wife and I and 4 friends had a meal on Saturday evening and all I can say is what a find. We are both vegetarian and usually struggle to find a good meal that is not the usual pasta choice, what we had was outstanding, the service was very good and I would have no hesitation in recommending this restaurant to anyone

Great place for lunch!
Me and my partner had lunch at the Grove Bistro. We have chosen the special two courses for £ 10.95. The delicious starters (Garlic Mushrooms and Potato Skins) followed by the (Steak and Mushroom Pie and Gammon Steak with tomatoes, pineapple and melted cheese) with choice of potatoes (chips, new or garlic once). Outstanding quality and portion of food in nice laid back atmosphere supported by friendly staff is something that will surprise you in the restaurant when looking at the prices. That's what I call value for money!
We will be coming back again and again...
The Grove Bistro is not to be missed when visiting W-S-M.
