“very good indeed”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 4 September 2012

The Cabot Court in Weston Super Mare, and its staff, are a credit to Wetherspoon's. The building has successfully been brought up to modern standards whilst preserving the many period features.Overall, it was very clean and comfortable.

Beware, however, it has no car parking, and also no air conditioning, although the windows do open.

My boyfriend and i stayed at the cabot hotel for a few nights earlier this month. We were really happy with the stay, good service, clean rooms and overall very good value for money. Location is right opposite the beach and a minute walk to the grand pier :) its only downfall was there was no parking at the hotel. On arrival they give u a list of recommended carparks to park your car pricing upto about 12.50 per night, personally we found the sovereign carpark the cheapest and safest (closes from 8-8) at 10 pound pn, and if u park after 5 and pick the car up before 10 you pay a reduced rate of 5pounds. Like i said prevously, we found this to be its only downfall and would happily return to this hotel next time :)

Stayed here on two separate occasions in August! A break away with my partner, which was excellent value! Rooms are lovely and staff there can't do enough to help, even when I asked to change the feathered pillows and quilt :) second stay my partner and I plus our 5 children, had a big family room (104)and was plenty big enough ;) even tho my little girl hurt herself, the staff again couldn't do enough and even contacted me a couple of days after the visit to see how she was!! Highly recommend this hotel and will be going back :)

Myself and my husband went to stay at the hotel for a break after i had an operation. We thought there was everything at the hotel we needed,as i couldn't walk far due to knee operation.First of all we were given room 211 it was fantastic sea view, room was large with walkin wardrobe and the bathroom well i wish mine was that big at home.Bed very big and comfortable great nights sleep just what i needed. We went downstairs for something to eat which again didn't let us down we couldn't fault it at all.Entertainment disco went on till 2am which was late but we didn't mind we went upstairs about 12.30 and it didn't stop us sleeping at all.If i had to pick the only bad point was there is no parking at hotel which we were never told so had to pay £10 for 24hrs up the road so if you went longer than us 1 night, then carparking would be expensive!!

Room Tip: we had room 211 and were over the moon with it.

I stayed here for two nights with my partner in August I booked about a week before and paid around £67 per night. We spoke to one couple who paid £50 and another who booked on the day and theirs was £40! It's understandable that sometimes they have cancellations and can do cheaper rates however it not being a weekend and not include breakfast or have a car park I think £67 is a little too much. They didn't offer a cheaper rate for staying two nights either. The location is perfect and the wetherspoons pub which its attached to is great, the whole place looks like its been recently refurbished and is spotless. Despite it bring attached to a pub we had no trouble with noise at all.
We were given a 20% off token for breakfast, food really nice in wetherspoons and great value but maybe it should just be included in the price?
Shower was great, bed comfy, good tv, space for clothing, floor length mirror, tea and coffee making facilities plus biscuits! There were no mini toiletries but this didn't bother me I take my own, clean towels daily and bed.
The only thing that lets this place down is there isn't a car park, I parked mine a ten minute walk away which was £5 for 24 hours. Staff were friendly here, I would go back but see about cheaper deals on other websites

Great place to here, right on the beach front, rooms are massive, clean, tidy, Staff are really nice. Could not fault ANYTHING at all about the hotel. Would stay again and will be recommending to family & Friends.

We stayed for one night only due to other travel commitments. We parked along the seafront in an overnight carpark and were greeted by a very friendly receptionist. She did mention the possibility of noise as it was a Friday night (Bar open until 2 am ) but our sleep was undisturbed. The room was clean and bright, the staff very friendly and breakfast, though extra, was good with 20% discount. Can thoroughly recommend this hotel
