“Cold!”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 26 April 2014 via mobile

The food was good here, I always like a steak at a Weatherspoons as it is reliable, my husband had the mixed grill and it was as good as usual. The meals also include a drink so it is good value. It's good plain grub.
My only complaint was that it was freezing in there! To be fair we didn't complain but I sat in my coat!
I'm sure is is not a normal occurrence and it wouldn't put me off going again.

I took the kids for a one night stay in Weston and we booked The York hotel which was ok. We then decided to stay for a second night so I book us a room here. Wow brilliant - fantastic room, very clean hotel and to food and service was excellent.

We will be returning.

Room Tip: Room 105 was excellent

Stayed at the Caboot with my Parents and my daughter. Was worried it might be too noisy for my Parents but It was fine.

Rooms were beautiful and the staff couldn't have been more helpful. Good food and drink at very reasonable prices helped make it a great stay.

Would book again if ever returning to the area. Lovely!

This is a basic Wetherspoons Hotel and nothing more. We paid £90.00 for a sea view room. We were told the car park was next door?? NOT.. Its at least 300 yards to the nearest which will cost you £10.50 per car over night. There is a 24 hour one another 500 yards further down for £5.50 per car. Quite a long way to walk with luggage so I parked my car in The Grovsner next door making sure I was not blocking the car park. Whilst putting the luggage on the top floor the horrid receptionist insisted that my car was blocking the road?? Seriously my partner is a fireman and he said you could have got a fire truck passed no problem...
The room is very basic booked in as a couple but only towels placed for one. The main objection is the reason I would never ever return to this drab place is the contract they make you sign before you get your key.. Crazy, its a must read just for the disbelieve factor!! Also a very small storage heater was the only heat in the room which was switched off.
Also breakfast is not included in the £90.00 but you do get a 20% discount next door in the pub side.
The total stay was £90.00 (room) £11.00 (parking) £9.00 breakfast = £110.00. Basically you can get a four star deal for that.

Total Rip Off

We are sorry that you did not enjoy your stay with us on this occasion.
Weston super Mare is very restricted with parking and as much as we would love to offer parking we do not have the facilities on site which is why we give our guests alternative options for parking. The drop off point for luggage is on another hotels right of way so we do try and keep it clear at all times and work with the other hotel to offer the best experience all round, I am sorry that you felt this was not the case.
The document you signed is an agreement to our Terms and Conditions. These are the Terms and conditions which apply to your booking at Wetherspoon Hotels whether you request such booking through our website, over the phone or otherwise. All hotels will have these terms and conditions and we try our best to make our guests aware of them on arrival so all parties are of the same understanding.
With regards to the towels I am sorry you did not have the correct amount in the room and we are always happy to provide extra if needed or required. The heating is switched on by housekeeping if we feel it is required as we try to be as green as possible and we apologise if the room was not at the best temperature for your needs.
Once again we are sorry that your experience this time was not the best if you did want to return please call the hotel to arrange the best stay for your requirements.

Fantastic value, booked this through late rooms and what a gem, rooms were clean as was the whole hotel, staff were excellent friendly and polite. Food good value and location is ideal a 2 minute walk from the town centre, beach and pier. Room with a sea view and despite the website which warns of late music we didn't hear a thing upstairs brilliant stay thanks to all the staff, we will visit again in the future.

Stayed here for 3 nights in February, arrived and they had helped me get a deal whilst staying here. The food here was nice, and the bar was cheap. Friendly staff and located right on the seafront. Would stay here again!!

My Girlfriend and I stayed here for 2 nights in March 2014, we stayed in room 106 which faces the pier, quite a small room but ample for 2 people, very clean and well presented.
We found the staff to be very helpful and polite (apart from the one bouncer who needs to stay off the steroids and is clearly a control freak). The food was lovely and well priced, the beer is again very reasonably priced along with a good atmosphere.
Location is really good, 5 minutes walk to the pier and into town, the car park is £5.50 per 24 hours and is about a 10 minute walk from the hotel but very secure.

Its a little noisy of an evening but only to be expected as it is a Weatherspoons and a very very busy one at that, we would stay again and recommend this hotel for a long weekend stay.
