“warm welcome&great nights stay”
Reviewed 15 March 2014

My hubby and I stayed for 1 night on Friday 14th March as we had tickets to see Jason Manford at the Playhouse theatre. We arrived to a warm welcome by Anne, nice friendly atmosphere. Our room was gorgeous!!! very modern up to date décor with posh spacious bathroom, shower wash and hand wash included too. Nice big comfy bed, TV and tea coffee facilities ETC. Had a lovely breakfast on Saturday morning cooked fresh, the only complaint I would have is that the sausage was a bit burnt and beans tasted a bit like cheap supermarkets own but the grove lodge itself is so nice and the welcome so warm I could overlook that easily because the Tea/Coffee, O.J, cereals and toast etc more than made up for it! We will def. stay here again x

Me and my partner stayed here for one night on a weekend away and both thought it was extremely good for the price we paid. It is very close to the town and only a short walk through the town to the pier and seafront. Our room was decent sized, clean and tidy and had everything we needed. The weather was not great during our stay but it was lovely to come back to a warm and comfortable room! The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, especially when we were able to pick our bags later on the day after check-out, so we weren't carrying them around all day. The breakfast was lovely and choosing what we wanted from a list when we arrived was easy and made it very quick in the morning. Overall, a lovely stay and I'm sure we will be back for another weekend! :)

stayed here on 13 and 14th of september great little place central to town .Clean and tidy rooms and the owners are really friendly.Parking at rear so no problem looking around for carparks.We had a room at the front a little noisy on the weekend nights but not a real problem . Breakfast was tasty i would return here again if it was choice as the location was perfect for the town

We had a lovely welcome from Anne the landlady she helped us park even though we were early and let us come back quite early about half past twelve, she was very flexible it adds to the enjoyment to your holiday. They both were very friendly and introduced them selves to us with first names Anne and Martin. We were helped up with the cases by martin and wow when we saw the room were pleasantly surprised, the interior was modern,bright and airy, and a large room. Everything was spotlessly clean,
Breakfast was served at a time of your choice we had ours at nine and you could ask for what you wanted, service was quick in the morning and the food was good, will always go there when we go to Weston from now on as it is also convenient to grove park, town, and we like to go and see a singer in one of the hotels on the front and they are not far from there ideal.

We stayed at The Grove Lodge Guest House and thoroughly enjoyed it. It was very close to all the shops and a 5 minute walk to the beach, what more can you ask for?. Ann and Martin were a very nice couple who own the guest house, and the breakfast was first class. The rooms were spotless and cleaned every day. We will definitely be back.The Jill Dando section in the park was a lovely tribute to her and the rest of the park was stunning too. Thanks Ann and Martin from Steven, Linda, Chris,and Sue.

Room Tip: All rooms seem to have a good view, however our friends stayed in room 6 and that was overlooking th...

Stayed one night with daughter. Pre-visit communication was excellent & checking in very welcoming. Room was a good size and well decorated. Breakfast was really fresh & nothing too much trouble. Have stayed in more expensive hotels in area but the Grove surpassed those experiences - will stay again if back in area!

We stayed here one night in July 2013.
We were ideally located for the beach and the town centre - as everything was no more than 5mins walk away.
However, I agreed with some of the other comments that the decor was a bit dated. And we weren't shown to our room either.
But to be honest, for the price we paid, the off-street parking, location, food, and beds were all nice enough.
I wouldn't complain - as we just wanted a stop over for a night out and to see the pier. But I think if you wanted to stay in WSM longer, you'd probably want to upgrade.
I'd say you get what you pay for with this guest house.
Staff= very friendly.
