“A little tired”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 26 May 2014

Madeira Cove is potentially a pleasant area just outside Weston Town centre. There is a man-made "lake" which fences in the sea with a walkway across to ta small "island". There is a cliff-side walk along the cove. but some parts were looking distinctly worse for wear. Plenty of seating for those who just want to watch the sea or laugh at those using the walkway as the tide is coming in - it's only inches above sea level!

“Get away from the crowds”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 17 April 2014

I like this part of Weston. It's full of character and is a pleasant place to stroll and sit out the way of the wind and it doesn't get over crowded.

“A lovely walk”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 13 October 2013

We had a lovely early morning walk, still morning air, with clear views of the North Devon coast and South Wales. Plenty of places to sit and admire the view. There are a number of cafes in this area, including Cove, ideal for a special meal or just coffee and home-made cake. Or for one of the best breakfasts I have had, try Stones at Knightstone.

“Beautiful”

Nice out of the way place with bars and cafes. Great for kids to paddle in the water or families to walk down amongst the rock pools.

“Grabbing to be done”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 18 August 2013 via mobile

Been coming here for years its timeless, beautiful place to catch crabs as the tide comes in, lots of pebbles and large rocks to sit on, when the tide is out there is a path you can walk out on, it only goes so far as many parts have fallen away over the years, beautiful views of all of Weston, you can see the old pier as well as the Grand Pier.
