“You get what you pay for”
Review of Sand Bay

We visited here for a convention this year and last. Since being taken over by pontins the food has changed, basic and canteen style help yourself - don't expect high class, high quality but at the end of the day you get what you pay for and the breaks are great value so you can't complain. There is some building work going on so it will be interesting to see what changes are made by the time we return next year. The chalets are dated but I think some of them have been updated a bit, the one we had this year (with a shower) was better than the one we had last year (with a bath) again basic but adequate and if your staying for a long weekend for an event etc it is just the job for the money.

Fantastic for scenic coastal walks and relaxation. The open top bus ride from Weston Super Mare makes it even more special!

This is a fantastic, no frills beach!
Lovely for walking the dog and filling your lungs with sea air.
Lots of free parking in various locations along Sand Bay beach. Not a typical sea-side holiday beach with entertainment...but an unspoilt sandy beach which doesn't get overcrowded.

So, if the quicksand, fast tides, crumbling cliff isn't enough to put you off, I guess thismis a great place to get rid of your family forever!!!
