“cheap but good mug of tea”
Reviewed 29 July 2014

Called in for drink before our return coach journey home my mug of tea was the cheapest drink I'd purchased all day and it was very good my grandson couldn't resist a bowl of chips which cost a pound excellent value. We were served quickly and sat outside will definitely go here when I next visit Weston Super Mare

“Fails badly with Staff Training leaving apathetic poorly trained staff.”
Reviewed 12 July 2014

Waited some time in a queue to be served with a list of 8 meals and drinks in hand, When it finally came to my turn, a woman walked in and pushed straight to the front for coffees. I piped up and mentioned that others had been here some time in a queue waiting, she shot a glare and the girl behind the counter shot me a similar glare, muttered something abusive I didn't quite catch and carried on serving the queue jumper. Both myself and the couple behind both left immediately taking our business elsewhere as obviously 10 meals lost is nothing compared with two cups of coffee.

Shame I never got to taste the food as it is reputedly good - but staff are obviously poorly trained - and as an ex caterer and now a business manager and advisor It sends a message that poorly trained staff means poor standards elsewhere in general - so sends out a message in itself,

“fantastic value for money”
Reviewed 9 June 2014

We were in Weston for the day and stopped here for a snack, we had noticed a sign saying their chips were only £1. We went inside to order some food and the list on the wall was large, we ordered a chicken, mayo and salad baguette and a pork and stuffing baguette, both £2.95 each, took a seat outside and was so suprised at the size of them when they arrived, I had to eat mine with a knife and fork lol, so much chicken and lovely fresh salad. The same with the pork one. What fantastic value for money, and a lovely spot to sit on the prom.

“Good food good price”
Reviewed 6 May 2014 via mobile

Stopped off here for an all day breakfast after having a walk along the front. It does exactly whatsit says on the tin it's a cheap cheerful place, friendly staff nice food. It's not a la carte but then not are the prices.
