“Holiday Hotel Break”
Reviewed 30 April 2012

Family run hotel Situated on the seafront within easy walking distance along the seafront to the town centre and Grand Pier. The bathrooms or showers are on the small side, and some in need of refurbishment. The rooms are comfortable and cleaned daily. Live entertainment nightly.
Wi-Fi is available in the hotel, although reception in some parts not very good.
The Seaward has a friendly and helpful staff, all willing to help, also good food and a reasonably priced bar with live entertainment nightly. I have also been there in the past and looking forward to a return visit later in the year knowing I will be comfortable, get good service and food along with evening entertainment.

Room Tip: Ask for Seaview

Stayed at the Seaward hotel over the Easter weekend 6/4/12- 9/4/12 and you get exactly what you pay for. The food was quite good, although not much variety and the service was quite slow. the rooms were adequate but in need of a lot of updating and the bathroom was so small, that you had to be a contortionist to sit on the loo. However the entertainment was very good. The hotel was nicely situated, staff were friendly and all in all, not too bad.

Room Tip: Go for a seaview as the view is nice

Visited for a weekend break in order to attend Bath Christmas Market. Travelled by coach. The receptionist came onto the coach and gave everyone a warm welcome and information regarding meals ,entertainment, facilities etc.
The two breakfasts were very good, hot and the service was excellent. The first evening meal was also very good with a choice of at least seven desserts. The saturday meal however was excellent. This was a traditional Christmas Turkey dinner which we had not been expecting. Again the food was hot, well served and very attentive service . Each guest received after dinner chocolates and hot mince pies with their tea or coffee. At each place setting there was a very good quality Christmas cracker and a wrapped Christmas present.

Situated in an ideal location for the beach, town and pier. Nice friendly staff and atmosphere.
Although the accomodation could do with modernising the rooms were clean and comfortable and met basic needs for a short break. Not so sure if I was staying for a week as some were quite small and cluttered with extra beds and furniture. The evening meal and breakfast were nice but felt 6pm for dinner was too early and would have liked a bit more flexibility on time.
Would return for a weekend break and would recommend to others

First time at The Seward, stayed 19th-23rd September with 11 friends so 12 in all, booked through Leisuretime. We all live in the same sheltered accomodation and fancied a breath of sea air before the Winter months and this was our First Choice.
It may not be the most modern hotel, however the kindness and friendliness of the Staff was a more than ample compensation. All were more than prepared to go the extra mile......something that I've found lacking in 5* Hotels!!
Food was of a very high standard, plenty of choice, always hot and fresh, and served with a smile.
The evening entertainment was enjoyed by all...especially the entertainer on the Monday evening.
We had a hoot and have recommended you to all our friends on our return home to South Wales. Will not hesitate in booking a return visit next year, this time for a full week.
The only downside for me was the shower cubicle,it would have been better with bi-fold doors as the rest of my group had...but that was a very very small hic-cup in a wonderful stay, even the weather smiled down on us for the majority of our break.
Weston has lots to offer and the surrounding area, also with it being so flat an ideal place for those of us with walking difficulties.

Went down to Weston on 3rd to 10th September the Weather was really bad, but Mrs Michael made our stay another week to remember, had some great nights with the free Entertainment, and we met a load of folk from Yorkshire who were also staying at The Seaward. We have been going down now for around 30 years and we have made friends with many Local People who always come and spend some nights with us having a drink and socialising. So we look forward to it every year.

Room Tip: great rooms at front with Sea View.
