What a great stay we had at The Beaches Hotel right on the seafront at Weston-Super-Mare. Greeted by the charming and helpful Michelle we soon sorted our first floor sea view room and got settled. A short walk took us to town, Weston being an old fashioned seaside town with lots of modern touches and facilities. Smashing wide promenade and flat beach for children to play safely. One tip, park your car at The Beaches and walk or use the land train. Parking is a nightmare in Weston. We loved the town - even the bittersweet sentiment of Jill Dando's memorial garden - and the people are so kind and welcoming. Back at The Beaches we enjoyed comfortable nights and splendid cooked breakfasts (thanks Andrew!). We couldn't have enjoyed our first ever visit to Weston more - thanks a lot Michelle and Andrew, especially for arranging the great weather!! We will be back.

John & Gill Norton from Newbury Berks.

Room Tip: We liked our room 3 as it looked out on the water.

We needed one night to extend a holiday due to exceptionally good weather and found this little gem tucked within Trip advisor a little off the No:1 spot and decided due to location to book.

We upgraded to a large family room because we had a three year old and the price was extremely reasonable for essentially two bedrooms with interconnecting door...very large...

The key bits:

The owners welcome you, you feel like they genuinely enjoy running this establishment and don't simply do it for the money - there is a real sense of "can do" attitude - customer service is v.high - nothing was left out of any of our needs...

The Breakfast is pre-booked so you know what you get and don't have to wait for 20 minutes whilst it's all prepared - you go down to breakfast and have your cooked breakfast when you want it - cooked to a very high standard - not greasy or messy - very well cooked, and very nicely presented.

This place does what it needs to do - gives you a room for the night for a price - but it does it with finesse that we all seek in this highly demanding age of customer service...

Book - you can't go wrong...

Andrew, Elizabeth and Sophie..

Room Tip: Family room costs £20 more and is great for space if you need it...

My wife and I got to know of the Beaches through Trip Advisor when looking for a long weekend break in Weston. From the moment we contacted Andy and Michelle and paid our deposit we knew we were not going to be disappointed. When we arrived to be shown our sea-view room at the "top of the house" it made it a weekend with the added WOW factor. Both our hosts could not have done more to make us feel welcome, and indeed almost one of the family. The rooms (we had a look at most of them) were all lovely and bright, clean and well decorated and each had something different to offer right up to a two room, twin en-suite family accommodation. Andy's breakfast was superb and set us up for the day. The Beaches is in easy walking distance of the attractions and restaurants and Andy and Michelle were prolific in their knowledge of the local area and eateries. It's a pity that old reviews put on about the Beaches prior to Andy and Michelle's take over can't be edited or scrubbed because they bear no resemblance to the wonderful place that these two brilliant hosts now offer. If you're thinking of staying in Weston you must stay here. Thanks guys, we will see you again that's a promise. John & Pam, Coventry

After our first visit to The Beaches Hotel last year my wife and myself thought it was worth another visit and allthough the weather wasn't brilliant but we wern't dissapointed, we were welcomed back like long lost relatives by Andrew and Michelle Fernley (our hosts), they seemed to have settled in nicely it being just there second season and are still a lovely friendly couple. You can't fault the location, being only a short walk from the main attractions but not to close that you are disturbed by any late night revellours. We found a nice little place for our Easter Sunday lunch, i think it was called Paris our something like that, it was just off the front, not the cheapest but good food and service with pleasant decor and atmosphere, if you ask Michelle or Andrew they will point you in the right direction and for a quiet evening drink try The Grand Atlantic, it's just down the road. But back to the Beaches Hotel you would have to go a long way to better this Bed and Breakfast Hotel, spotlessly clean with great front of house sea veiws and the breakfast made to Andrews high standards, you might have to leave lunch 'till later, it "WILL" fill you up. Again i would recomend the Beaches even if it was just for the most comfortable bed we've ever slept in. Give it a try!!

Room Tip: The rooms on the front have great views accross the bay and great sunsets, the room we had slept 2 a...

Hi my wife and i have just returned from a 3 week stay in England. We stayed at The Beaches Hotel on the waterfront at Weston Super Mare for only 1 night and found from the moment we spoke with Andy and Michelle that our stay would be a friendly one, They are great people who go out of there way to make ur stay a pleasant one . No complaints about our room everything was good, Andy likes to throw on the apron and does the breakfasts and what a great job he did of it. We only wished we could have had more time to stay there and chat with these great hosts. Andy gave us some info on places to go and see on our travels down to Cornwall which was really good. If we ever return to the UK we would stay there again. Graham and Gwen, Australia

We have stayed at the beaches many times and have seen several changes in ownership. We have always been satified with the welcome, accommodation and breakfast with nothing being being too much trouble. It has to be said however our last stay in August 2011 Andy and Michelle (recent owners and new to the business) were extremely pleasant and helpful, assisting us with all sorts of things (not just related to the Hotel).
Andy and Michelle have done an excellent job in taking over a lovely hotel and keeping up, even improving our holiday experience. Well done both. Harley and the motorway terror.

Room Tip: Faqmily room is excellent for parents with upto 2 children with a seperate sleeping ara for the chil...
