We stayed for 4nights in the four poster room 218 wonderful seaview the hotel has a very good size carpark which is free to staying guests being disabled i feel there could have been more than 2 disabled parking places. The room was nice but it could do with a bit sprucing up as there is a black damp mark on the ceiling above the window. and the windows themself could do with a paint. I spillt sugar on the floor on the 1st day we was there and it was still there when we lefted. The Thursday night caverary in the Golden Jubilee restaurant is the best caverary we have ever had the restaurant staff were all very nice. The breakfast in this hotel is the best we have ever had in any hotel here our abroad the choice you have is excellent cooked wonderful and hot the staff at breakfast are all so very nice something which the reception staff could learn from when checking out we were not even asked if we had a nice stay or told have a safe journey home. The hotel is in a very good location near everthing.

Room Tip: high floor seaview side

we were really disappointed with this afternoon tea. Everything was the most basic that it could have been, cheap bread poor filling, basic scones and very basic cup cakes (the type you buy in a pack of 6)
I wrote and expressed my disappointment but they didnt even reply.
Shame really because I dont like complaining.

Stayed for one night in June. Really fantastic location just on the beachfront so very handy. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful, are a credit to the hotel and should be commended. With a young child we found our room brilliant in terms of having a proper bed for her to sleep in and not some put up bed which we have had in other establishments. Good quality products of tea, coffee and hot chocolate in the room. The breakfast in the morning is totally amazing in terms of the quality and choice and service is exemplary. We ate lunch from the bar which was generous in serving size and really delicious, and very quick to be served to us. Well done to The Royal and all your team. We would definitely visit again based on this experience.

This modernised hotel position is in an ideal position set back overlooking the sea, next to the Winter Gardens and by the pier. The car parking is free for guests in the grounds. The décor is is in keeping with its 200 years, with modernism when required, with its sweeping staircase. Our room was a good size, with a large bathroom. It was a pleasure to be seated at a table and handed a menu to chose your meals, which were of a high quality. The staff were friendly and helpful. The bar menu good, with guest ales on offer, with leather seating, TV's and some entertainment on offer.
This is a comfortable hotel, with full Wi-Fi, and lots of good points. We would highly recommend a visit, to Weston Super Mare.

Enjoyed an evenings entertainment on 20.6.14. Felt welcomed when I walked in to get a drink at the bar. Bar staff gave a friendly smile. The nights entertainment put on by a man called Paul Salvage, comedian and great singer, sang great Elvis numbers, Otis Redding and many more. Also Paul introduced a young chap called Kody and he sang Michael Bublè songs and sounded incredible. Nice atmosphere. Reasonable prices for drinks. Didn't eat as it was a bit late for us.

Spent one night here. Booked in on a whim. Had a double room. No problems nice and clean good shower, decor dated but no detriment to the stay. Wither spoons on the side of it what more could anyone wish for. Car park more than adequate breakfast not the greatest but perfectly acceptable. Would stay here again.
