I had a great time in London but northern Wales and the Meadosweet were the highlights of my trip. The Meadowsweet was lovely, clean, decorated nicely, and my room had all sorts of little extras that were so nice, like cotton balls that I needed to pad a blister I got from so much hiking. I reallly enjoyed the food at the hotel restaurant, Lle Hari. It was the best food I had during my trip. It was not hard to get from London to this place and I am so glad I did. The area is fabulous. The people are friendly. It is not so crowded and my biggest regret is that I should have stayed longer!

We stayed in The Meadowsweet Hotel for one night. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Our room (No 5) was small but very clean. We had TV, tea and coffee making facilities with biscuits and toffees and bottled water. There was everything in the room that you would need for an overnight stay. There was no view from this room. The plumbing system in this hotel is very noisy and the bathroom, although clean, is very dated and very small. The rest of the Hotel is very comfortable and welcoming. The evening meal was excellent and the breakfast also very good, lots of choice for breakfast. Overall we had a very pleasant stay and the staff did everything to make it so.

We stayed in the family room for only one night (wanted longer but sadly no room), The room was large, clean and comfortable. It was great to have proper beds for the children rather than a sofa bed. The view was amazing and the welcome from Nelson was warm.
Breakfast was a real treat and very tasty. The decor is sumptuous and the bar cosy and relaxing. All in all a wonderful hotel.

We recently stayed at the Meadowsweet and found the hotel to be comfortable and well maintained. Upon arrival we were greeted by a very friendly receptionist who couldn't do enough to help us.

Once in our room, we found it to be spacious and comfortable. It was nicely furnished with great views of the countryside. The bathroom was clean but could do with a bit more updating - it's had a 'mini makeover' at some point but you can clearly see the tile paint as it hasn't been applied very well. This is a minor grumble though.

The food was excellent and we ate in the hotel restaurant on the night of our arrival. It was good, hearty, home cooked style food which was of a good standard. Same for the breakfast.

On the whole a good stay and recommended

From the moment we arrived Nelson made sure all our needs were met, we were meeting friends who had stayed overnight and were still having breakfast, so he whisked us into the dining room and brought us tea and coffee so we could catch up with our friends. Then he found us the post code for Snowdon for our satnav. The food in the evening was very good, and the breakfast also. The room was beautifully done; we even had 2 small bottles of complimentary "fizz", dressing gowns and slippers. It is a very relaxing Hotel; we would have liked to stay longer, and, if in the area again will certainly go back. Chris & Sue

We stayed in the family room which overlooked beautiful welsh countryside. Mary and Nelson have done wonders with this hotel. The rooms are beautifully restored and the staff are very helpful and friendly.

Breakfast is superb, we had a wonderful choice of cereals, fruit, pancakes or the full english breakfast. We had dinner in the restaurant one night and it was one of the best meals we have had.

The location is ideal for exploring north wales. Llanrwst is a lovely town very near to snowdonia.

This is our second stay here and it keeps getting better. We can't wait to return.

Meadowsweet was the nicest place we stayed in Wales. Our group of 6 (3 couples) were made to feel welcome. Rooms were very spacious and bathrooms all updated with all the amentities we expect in America. Service was outstanding for both nights we stayed. The dining room and the bar were exquisite making you not desiring to even leave the premises. The food was supurb and the presentation as well. Looking forward to visiting again!
