My wife and I spent 10 days at “Eagles View” last week. This was our second visit this year, and we enjoyed it immensely. The house was very comfortable, spacious and had all the things we needed to make our stay relaxed and restful. We just loved sitting in the rear garden late afternoon with a glass of wine soaking in the lovely scenery, and watching the sheep in the field at the end of the garden.
The house is on a very well-kept estate, quiet and peaceful. It is only a 10 minute walk into Llanrwst, where the shops met all our needs, the pub by the River Conwy by the quaint river bridge was just great.
Llanrwst is in an ideal location for exploring Snowdonia. We did several walks in the mountain areas of Snowdon, Capel Curig and Llyn Ogwyn. We visited Conwy Castle, the wonderful Bodnant Gardens, rounding off our trip to Llandudno and the tramway trip up Great Orme.
Len and Jan, the owners of the house called us during the week to make sure we were OK, as we had a run of rainy days. We were fine, cosy and warm with the facility of gas-fired central heating and a gas fire in the lounge.
We look forward to a return visit in the not too distant future.
