I was guest at an annual fundraising dinner at the Richmond Gate Hotel. The staff were excellent and the service was impeccable.
We had smoke salmon with crab mousse, Breast of duck and finished with a crème brulee with strawberries. All courses were good but the duck was outstanding. It was served pink with a rich sauce. All the more remarkable was the fact that 70 ducks were served at the same time and, from my survey of fellow guests, all were pink. A triumph.
