Lovely views over the river for a breakfast or brunch meeting. Sheltered from the weather and looking over the garden area one can only feel spoilt at the Bingham. Parking is limited but possible and not far from the centre of Richmond.

I have stayed at the Bingham a few times and have always had a good experience. It is well located to public transportation and within easy walk to restaurants. Great views of the river. Great restaurant and bar. I would highly recommend the Bingham.

Ate here on a Saturday evening. Booked quite late and couldn't get a table until 9.00 but when we arrived at 8.20 our table was ready. Had a fab meal, everything was delicious. I had venison which was beautifully tender and seasoned. Only gripe is that the wine list is expensive and our waiter put the white wine miles away in a bucket and we had to ask to have glasses refilled. He could have left it next to the table and we could have done our own. Look forward to coming back in the summer when we can sit outside and see the river (we did have a river view and the twinkling lights over the other side were pretty but it must be lovely to have a drink on the balcony and watch the sun go down).

We had Sunday lunch. We started off with cocktails in the bar which were lovely served with tasty olives & nuts - the view over the river was charming, especially as the sun was streaming through the windows.
The Sunday lunch menu is extremely good value for money. I had the vegetarian options which were tasty unfortunately, Nick's roast beef was quite tough - we noticed the table next to us were experiencing the same problem - quite hard to get your knife through the meat. We paid our bill & mentioned to the manager the problem and in fairness he asked if we'd already paid, which we had and then offered us a complimentary drink.
This small problem wouldn't stop us visiting again or taking friends and family there.
Even though the menu is very reasonable beware - the drinks do add up & what you might initially think of as great value, can be a bit of a shock when the final bill arrives. As said, we've been there before so weren't shocked and even though it is a expensive, it's still very worth while going for a great experience.

Room Tip: Ask for a seat in the restaurant by the window.

We went to the Bingham for our 2nd wedding anniversary on 18 January 2014.
The hotel is gorgeous with very friendly staff and a great location along the river.
We arrived a bit early for our reservation so we had a drink at the bar while we waited.
They have an extensive drinks menu and the bar staff where very helpful and friendly.
The food was exceptional and the service amazing. Our waiter was very friendly and made the evening perfect. He found out we were celebrating our wedding anniversary and he brought out a complimentary desert with 'Happy Anniversary' written on it. It was very special and topped off an amazing night.

I would definitely recommend this restaurant and would not think twice about going. It is very reasonably priced for what it is and the perfect location for an intimate evening with a loved one or a special occasion with friends.

Thank you for a great evening!

We ate at the Bingham on January 16th and had a marvellous experience. We started with cocktails by the fire in the cosy bar. My one complaint there was that the cocktails took a while to arrive and had far too much ice in them. It was hard to get to the drink!
We were shown to a lovely, comfortable table by a picture window overlooking the river. The scallop and ham hock starters were mouthwateringly delicious, followed by the equally divine venison and pork belly. The food is rich so we shared a dessert - blackberries and chocolate. It too was enjoyable although the milk icecream was a little bland.
The service was excellent with the waiters being attentive yet unobtrusive. The sommelier was friendly and gave helpful advice on our wine choices.
We also loved the little extra dishes from the chef, especially a kind of passion fruit granita which was a great palate cleanser.
All in all, a wonderful, romantic evening with superb food and drink. We'll be back.

A terrifié boutique hôtel in the charming city of Richmond. Stylish with a terrific kitchen that served a fine breakfast and superb dinner fare. The staff was more than cordial and made us feel at home from the moment we waltzed in the door. Spent a lazy Sunday in the bar/ library/ lobby and watched the river flow over a tasty chenin blanc - "Ain't life grand?"- at times yes; this was one of those times. Bravo Bingham.

Room Tip: Ask for the river views.
