A wonderful setting by Loch Leven. The gardens go down to the Loch shore. The staff were very friendly and helpful at all times, very informative re local attractions. Food was of a good standard and reasonably priced. We ate twice in the restaurant as well as breakfast. The room was very clean with ensuite bath. Tea making facilities were a little cramped and the room was rather short of electric points

Room Tip: Go for a room with a view of the Loch

Didn't stay overnight - came for dinner so can only speak to that. We were staying in North Ballachulish during a road trip around Scotland and stayed at a B&B nearby the Loch Leven Hotel which came recommended to us by our hosts. We opted for dinner in the bar/lounge as opposed to the restaurant simply because after a long day driving we wanted a more casual, relaxed meal. We got there shortly before dinner service started but the staff were very welcoming - taking our drink orders, then giving us both the dining room and bar menus, saying we could have anything from either served in the bar. Bonus!

Our appetizers were delicious and (rarer and rarer these days) the perfect size for starters (why do restaurants make some of them so huge?). The creamy mushrooms in particular were out of this world. I had the burger which was very good as were the chips. I'd like to report on what my husband had but I was so distracted by the STUNNING view out of the window (I could have eaten the scenery alone and been satisfied).

The staff were lovely, the place warm and inviting, the food delicious and the setting superb. What else could you want?

Had trouble finding at first due to the postcode on the sat nav it's is well signed!
Receptionist was lovely and friendly showed me to the room and told me every thing I need to know.
The room was okay, big enough for 1 person, comfortable bed nice view out of the window, excellent wifi in the room, shower was powerful just a wee bit on the small size!
Evening meal was excellent good, choice menu as was breakfast.
A lovely little hotel with stunning views and friendly atmosphere

Wonderful location by the loch. The interior is a bit basic, but perfectly OK. Friendly staff. Very good food, nicely presented. Didn't stay at the hotel, but had evening meal. Would definitely go there again.

All the team were superb and went above and beyond the call of duty on our visit. Nothing was too much trouble and the food and drink were on the money, in particular the steaks and the local ales. A great location and a perfect entry into the highlands for a stop over or a longer stay. Just make sure the person in charge of your party books enough rooms ! Would love to return soon.....and have a room of my own....

Stayed here for one night . I have high standards I found the hotel to be a little dated quite old furniture but everything clean and useable. We ate in the restaurant the food was ok there are lovely views over the loch and the staff were friendly. For an overnight stay it served our purpose breakfast was good and we all slept well. The fan was very noisey and old in the bathroom but all in all It was ok.

Special deal break with upgrade to lochside room with balcony great view, both out and in as we were to experience when bus party arrived in afternoon during siesta time and poked their heads in thro fire door to view "oor wee hoose." English tour group for tea & scones . Lucky we were just on top of bed ,reading . New owners making some good changes to decor etc Good hearty breakfast but dinner not up to standard of last visit and menu would need changing if staying for more than two nights

Room Tip: Special deal break & paid extra for loch side view with balcony & worth it .
