“Nice concept but over priced”
Reviewed 30 July 2014

Found this place to be quaint but over priced and not the norm on not having many regular menu items.

“All-female, all-delicious”
Reviewed 19 July 2014 via mobile

We had lunch here today - the first time we had food of the first nations, and it was delicious! The house specialty is bannock, as the slogan suggests. This type of bread was wonderful: not too doughy, and it just fell apart in your mouth! Two of us had the chile Indian tacos, which were so good! Instead of the "usual" hard taco shell, the chili and salad were served on the bannock, leading to a lovely dish. One of us had the veggie taco (also very nice), while the last member of our party had the bannock burger (apparently, the bannock was a perfect fit with the burger). I made the mistake of also ordering a soup with my taco. The soup itself (butternut squash) was delicious, but way too much with the taco! I'd recommend just going for the "main course", unless you are absolutely starving!

The servers in this all-female café were also very friendly and efficient. I would definitely recommend this eatery if you want to try classic lunch items with a twist!

“Burgers are a must!”
Reviewed 10 July 2014

First time having bannock. Love it! We had the buffalo burger with cheese and bacon, bbq sauce and no mayo. It was sooooo good that my husband ordered it after eating his breakfast already. My sister tried the indian taco it was okay. Based on the orders, the pulled pork is also to die for. We will definitely come here again next time we're in Kelowna. It is a cafe so you order at the counter and they will bring the food to you.

“Get here and eat NOW!”
Reviewed 7 July 2014

Amazing little café. The bannock pulled pork taco was like a thousand angels dancing on my tongue. Seriously, the food is worth going back again and again. We drove 2 hours out of our way to eat here and it was so good we almost stayed overnight just to have dinner and breakfast here. WOW!

“Don't panic, we have Bannock. ”
Reviewed 6 July 2014 via mobile

Charming staff compliment a totally unique cuisine. Using Bannock (traditional aboriginal bread) as a vehicle for classic breakfast favourites like eggs benny or breakfast sandwiches invigorates the usual dining experience. Highly, highly recommend Kekuli Cafe.
