well am not complaing about the campsite just where we had to pitch our tent.we pitched our tent on gravel and average sized stones so every where you walked was like walking on razor blades .the shower rooms were awfull, dirty.they had several buidings to shower in but inside the buildings was A SHOWER not good enough but the holiday itself was good enough, but not for a tent.

“Great campground with a nice ravine walk across the street”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 27 June 2014 via mobile

Stayed 2 nights here. Site 121 backing on to the creek. Pretty nice and private and big.

$30/night for a tent with car included is a bit steeper than other provincial parks but not that much different.

The easy hike across the street is really neat, especially when you get down in to the ravine and to the look outs above. It's pretty quick too.

All facilities in the park are provided, the drinking water tastes fine and park staff are friendly and responsive to any issues. Wood is delivered as part of the change ($7/bundle) and there is a small convenience store with snacks at the entrance.

Lots of sites to choose from but for tents, 120, 121 and 122 are nice, as are some between 74 and 78, for a start.

“Beautiful Park Great staff !!!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 13 June 2014

A great provincial campground with a waterfall and trails to hike. We arrived late and the young park ranger found us a site by the creek. The next morning our RV would not start we could not figure it out so we went to the front office and asked if they knew of a mobile mechanic, we called three and all were too busy. The young man who had checked us in the night before came by our site while were trying to get a tow truck and had a look at our rv and said if we did not mind waiting he could maybe fix it in the evening, He replaced our fuel filter and a damaged gas hose and refused to take any payment !! Overall an amazing stay. We will return.

“Great Location”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 22 May 2014

Just a 15 minute drive from downtown Kelowna, Bear Creek offers a wide range of different campsites, from pristine lakefront, to gladed forest, to raging creek front.

My wife andI prefer the "newer" loop, which is located to the south of the entrance over the Bear Creek bridge. These sites, for the most part, offer the most privacy.

There is a large playground and decent beach within this campground.

There is some moderate to extreme hiking within this provincial park.

There is a coin-operated sani-dump located across Westside Road from the campground.

The staff here are great! Sites are cleaned and raked promptly to prepare for the next arrival.

The gatehouse also offers a few confectionary items, the most important of which is ICE. A very nice convenience during the warm Okanagan summers.

“Great views!”

Moderate difficulty hike. Nice views of Okanogan Lake and tall waterfalls. Many fire-killed trees and lots of old trees. Saw some geese and some small critters.
