“Excellent, beautiful”
Reviewed 16 March 2014 via mobile

Took a team of 28 on a mission trip to El Salvador, and spent a couple of days at Atami to rest and relax. Beautiful grounds, great pools, excellent rooms. LOVED the gazebos with hammocks. The food was great, too. Definitely would like to return.

“Very Pleased”
Reviewed 5 August 2013

I led a group of 17 on a mission trip to El Salvador, and stayed at Atami Club for 2 mights as our Rest & Reflection days. We were very pleased with the resort. Pools were clean. Loved the salt water pools, and the water slide. $1.00 for 5 rides! food was prepared exactly per our requests, and was delivered preciously on time. Very reasonable rates. We'll be back.

“Great Food, Privacy, & Amazing View of the Ocean!”
Reviewed 28 January 2012

I went to Atami with my family in 2010 and 2011 and we all had a great time. Atami is a private, gated, oceanfront beach club & residential community located right beside the beach of Palmarcito.

We paid $10.00 (each person) to enter the club which gave us access to a "rancho" (bungalow), casa club, restaurant, children’s play area, fresh and salt water pools (about 4 or 5 of them), water-slides, and to the private beach. The food was a bit expensive, but it was definitively delicious (you have to try the plantain made empanadas... OMG!!!). The "ranchos" have hammocks, tables, and chairs to relax, etc. I also remember the tropical band playing that afternoon at the casa club, which made our visit more pleasant.

I noticed that Atami club is very clean and the staff were very polite. I also noticed security personnel and the staff explained that Atami has 24 hour security. The private houses in Atami are fancy looking and I think some of them are available for daily or weekly rentals. The club is high on a cliff and the view of the ocean is incomparable.

You need a car to visit Atami as it is located about 45 minutes away from the International Airport (Comalapa), about 45 minutes from San Salvador (capital), and about 15 minutes away from the oceanfront city of La Libertad. As well, Atami is about 5 minutes away from the beach of El Tunco and the beach of El Sunzal. Once in Atami, you can use your car, bike or just walk the streets inside the residential community.

My next visit to Atami will be longer and the staff explained the club has independent private suites for overnight stays. Feel free to check my videos of Club Atami in YouTube, just search: Club Atami, El Salvador.
