“You can't go wrong! Everything Awesome.”

I have eaten at this restaurant a number of times now and I've never been disappointed. The local's night is great value, $39 for 3 courses on Tue& Wed nights. Last time at a work function we had the banquet, so I tried lots of things from the menu and everything was delicious. My absolute favourite - the kimichi dumplings. If you love spicy, you must try! The yum cha on the weekend is really good, my friend had her birthday party there and it was so good, we ate so much food and wine and it was under $30 per person. The service is great, they know a lot about wines and have wines on the menu that you can not get in bottle shops. At the entrance is a bar area, so you could go for just drinks too. Its only 5 minutes drive from hastings street, so if youre staying in Noosa, take a trip to Sunshine Beach village & go to XO!

“Fantastic Asian Dining on the Sunshine Coast”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 11 October 2013

All the reports from fellow foodies are spot on! This was a fantastic restaurant both in terms of food and complementary wines and cocktails.
The XO Moreton Bay bugs were a highlight.
Will definitely visit again on my next stay on The Sunshine Coast.

“Enjoy the Embassy”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 9 October 2013

Very welcoming staff on arrival with choice of seats as we were early. Loved the stylish red and black decor with beautiful lanterns. Ordered tea on arrival with the teapot and small cups following the red and black theme. We didn't drink wine but enjoyed eating our delicious seafood meals presented in stylish plates. Great not to see disposable chopsticks used which is great for the environment. An enjoyable evening out with attentive staff, so would definitely go again.

“Wonderful service and superb food”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 27 September 2013 via mobile

Great "Old Shanghai" feel about the place with red and black decor styles, but not gaudy. Candles and great lighting make for a wonderful ambience. The entire place can be opened up for the summer months by glass louvres and sliding doors. Very well trained staff - attentive and courteous but not intrusive. The menu is not large but the selection is an innovative twist on Chinese cuisine. Braised beef cheeks in a homemade black bean sauce; the cheeks are marinated for 4 days and slow cooked for 6 hours. Superb melt in the mouth. We had a wonderful night and would recommend highly.

Embassy XO has to be the best restaurant on the Sunshine Coast.

It was an absolute pleasure to dine at Embassy XO last night. The staff were professional and friendly. The wine list extensive and not too expensive - perhaps related to the XO cellar below.

The atmosphere and decor stylish but the meal was exceptional. We had the local set 3 course menu for $39. WOW. Yabbie dumplings - great texture and flavour. Beef cheeks to die for followed by a chocolate steamed bun with a raspberry and chilli coulis YUM YUM YUM. Wish I had discovered this restaurant the first night at Noosa. Wouldn't have bothered going anywhere else.
