Unbeatable Value for Money. Booked this one through Argo Holidays, a reputable Tour Operator who I've used for many years. The service & facilities available at this Hotel were excellent and also the Resort of Paphos is the place to be especially in October.

A good family-run hotel in a quiet location and value for money.

The hotel has more than 1000 repeat clients so they must be doing something right!

The rooms are basic but comfortable and clean; unfortunately, in the last 12 months, wooden floors have been fitted. Note to management; not a good idea from noise intrusion point of view.

Food is plentiful, both breakfast and dinner being buffet and you would be hard pressed not to find something to your liking.

Staff are all friendly and helpful, the rude waiters mentioned by other contributors were not in evidence.

As one of the 1000+, another visit is planned in the near future.

Where do I start, if I can give people advice please do not go all inclusive to this hotel.
Firstly we found the hotel clean but very basic for a 3 star.
95 % of the rooms are twin beds.
We was staying at this hotel for 14 days on all inclusive basis, no one told us what we could or could not have on arrival. 1st day we went for lunch and asked for a sandwich and the waiter stated that all inclsive can only have the buffet.
Dinner again was the same buffet for everyone and surprise suprise buffet for breakfast. The buffet consisied of soup, salad bar, then a small selection of meals. The fish never stated what it was and we found that if we had gammon for dinner then this would be on the lunch buffet but in a different sauce.
We have returned and never want to eat a buffet again.
Most of the staff we found very rude except for a waiter named Ivan who would do anything for you. thanks ivan.
Entertainment what entertainment bingo i think was the highlight.
The main problem for us that as all inclusive the staff did not want to know us they would rather serve and take real money from customers because they may get a tip. Please you can not run this hotel on B&B, Half Board and All Inclusive it does not work.
As a result of the poor food we ate out 5 times during the holiday at an extra cost.
The location is not what was stated to us it is a bus or taxi ride to anyhere. Coral Bay is 2-3 miles away and Paphos is 10 miles.
English people beware. P&D

We have just returned from this hotel and were very disappointed to say the least! I asked for a double room on a low floor, when we arrived we were on the 4th floor in a twin room, with a balcony overlooking some bushes with what must have been a cess pit underneath as the smell was quite strong. On arrival we flicked the switch in the bathroom and all the lights went out and the air con stopped. We called the manager but there was nothing he could do, so we had to sleep with the door open, with the smell circling our room. We changed rooms for an extra £4 a night, this was just the beginning!
Enterainment - What entertainment??? There were some activities advertised - don't know where or if these took place. Evening entertainment - bingo.... disco??? no atmosphere.
Bar - Closed at 12!!! Some staff extremely rude (thank god for one waiter - Ivan!).
Restaurant - Where to start.... hardly appetising... recycled food, we were half board and ended up going out for meals, to get some decent food!
Cleaning - my boyfriend ended up hoovering the floor as the cleaner couldn't be bothered!
Atmosphere - This hotel was dominated by holidaying cypriots, who were extremely rude, and loud, who would not find a problem with pulling their sunbeds into your personal space.
Pool - If you put your towel out at 1am you would get a bed by the pool!
Really disgusted with the shambles they call the Queens Bay hotel!

We read up on this hotel and its reviews and thought a 10 night stay would suit us both. We booked through Fly Globespan (which was an excellent choice too) and we got picked up and taken straight to our hotel straight away. After a few drop off's we reached the Queens Bay Hotel and we were greeted by the most friendly people who couldnt do much more to help and assist us on making our welcome more relaxed. We were offered a drink and had a tour of the main reception and terraces. Our room was basic and very clean - just what we expected and were happy with. Maids cleaned the rooms and fresh towels left every day. Reception, toilets, bar areas, lobby's and stairwells were always very clean and tidy. The pools were cleaned every morning and were maintained throughout the day. Bar staff were all friendly and very welcoming. Food was very good and the staff always made sure nothing ran out. Excellent choice for vegetarians too. Wheelchair facilities were excellent - so anyone wheelchair bound in need of a hotel with easy access to all areas of the hotel and surrounding grounds would be accomodated very well. We were looking for a relativly quiet hotel in an area where we could have a choice if we wanted to go to Paphos town for shopping or restaurants and we definately got what we were looking for. This is not a beach hotel so if you are looking to head to the beach you will have a short bus journey to get to one. The nearest os Coral Bay which is a 10mins bus journey . But dont let this put you off this fab hotel ! We personnally would rate it a 4 star. Anyone lucky enough to book to go on holiday to Cyprus, we would thouroughly recommend the Queens Bay Hotel.

We have just returned from one very hot week at the Queen's Bay Hotel near Pathos.
The pool was brilliant, very warm and plenty big enough for everyone - except -
Only one problem was the scuba divers that took over the deep end of the pool for two half days in our week - so we had to swim over their heads!
The children were fine, as the parents kept a close eye on them at all times.
Food was very tasty and a good variety. Lots of different types of salad, so we all had fun guessing what we were eating each night!
All the staff were very helpful, polite and professional at all times.
This is an extremely quiet hotel, with no music in the day - so we had a really really peaceful and restful week, simply sunbathing, reading books and enjoying the pool.
The walk to the bus stop is nothing - only a couple of minutes up a very small hill - very cheap bus to coral bay or pathos town - so no problems there at all (bus 10 or 15).
Rooms were all very tidy and the maid service was excellent and very thorough. We went half board and got a free cold jug of water each day, which was gratefully received in our room.
BBC and ITV channels are available but tended to 'breakup' at times - but you do not go on holiday to watch TV afterall!.
Lovely area and just peace and quiet - what more could you ask for.

Just back from a week at the queens bay hotel. I went with my husband, 2 children aged 13 & 9 and my 79 year old father in law. We were met and dealt with very quickly by a very smiley receptionist. I had e-mailed the hotel before hand asking for 3 rooms on the same floor and got just that, infact they gave us interconnecting rooms which was a bonus. Our rooms had an amazing sea view. The pool had plenty of sun beds- no need to reserve them. The food was of an excellent quality and if the children did not like something they waiters would get them some chips. Speaking of the waiters, they could not do enough for you and always with a smile on their faces despite the excessive heat! The weather was glorious- a bit too hot! We had booked for the half board option but soon realised if was worth up grading to fully inclusive. adults 14 cy pounds and children 10cy pounds per day. The children could then have as much ice cream etc they wanted without bothering us for money. The rooms are basic but kept beautifully clean- with fresh towels and clean sheets everyday. My only complaint would be air con- as it was so hot I think the hotel needs better air con, but apart from that a perfect holiday suitably for all ages.
