“Best Sunday lunch”
Reviewed 2 March 2014 via mobile

Found this place by accident and glad we decided to pop in. Beautiful Sunday roast, plenty of choice- lamb, pork, beef and chicken, all served with fresh vegetables and a huge Yorkshire pudding. Offers value for money with mains under £10. Highly recommended.

“Consistently Outstanding Sunday Roasts”
Reviewed 8 June 2013

We live locally and take any visitors here. Without exception the Sunday food is amazing and presented like a qulaity restaurant. Plate is prettily stacked with roast potatoes, meat, yorkshire pud, stuffing and parsnip shavings. Veg come separately and include spiced red cabbage, swede, and cheesy leeks all beauftifully cooked. Not had a weekday meal but adore the roasts. Desserts are generally good and again look lovely when served.

“Busy Traditional Pub with Good Food”
Reviewed 14 May 2013

Had a lovely steak here in the conservatory. Hubby had an excellent couple of pints too.

Its not far from home but I never think to write reviews close to home - but now I have!
