Have just been to the Lydden Bell for dinner with my wife for our anniversary. The food was very very good. Won't be long toll we return for another meal.

Came here with my partner for a meal one evening, the food was just amazing - the mussels were the best I've tasted in England! Very glad we were recommended this restaurant - Justine looked after us and everything was perfect. Compliments to the chef and Justine and we hope to be back soon.

My wife and two friends enjoyed an excellent meal here tonight. The starters were very nice and well presented. The Duck, Fish and Chicken which we ate, were all piping hot and extremely delicious. As podged as we were, we attacked the sweet menu, enjoying Eton Mess and Sticky Toffee Pudding. Excellent staff who really looked after us, we will be returning.

This pub is not as good as it used to be. Now has become average pub grub. Staff untrained so service suffered. Had some great meals here in the past, but it has gone seriously downhill ! Vegetables hard and quality of meat poor. No sign of landlord. Has the previous cook left ?
