“Relaxing and Hot”
Reviewed 22 September 2014 for a stay in September 2014

Villa had all we wanted. The pool was warm, the Tree provided shade which was essential with the temp generally in mid 80s all week.
Good Tapas bar about 100 yds away and we had an enjoyable meal at the Taj Indian restaurant around the corner. Another bar /restaurant also in same area along with a supermarket which provided most that wer wanted - fresh bread in the morning.

Larger supermarket in Alaior with meat counter.

Beaches accessible but only with car. Addadia does not have a beach but there is a bar down at the Port and there is plenty to watch going on with a beer.

Needed fans at night which Sue kindly provided, you got the feeling she was always happy to help

“Pleasant stay”

We stayed for a week this half term and enjoyed our time here however there were a few issues with the property. The villa has a pool but at the time of year we visited ( half term in May) we were unable to use it as it was so cold. This proved an issue as we had a small child with us and was one of the main reasons we chose the villa. The villa also has a number of steps surrounding it so it meant that even on the grassy areas our child was unable to play without constantly holding his hand. The patio door lock was also broken when we got there which again in terms of security was quite a concern. The maintenance support was excellent regularly visiting to help us with any issues , our tv broke half way through our stay therefore we had to wait for a replacement but warren managed to get us a replacement before the stay was over. Three bathrooms was handy with a large party but one of the bathrooms had an issue with the flooring meaning that it was constantly wet for hours on end even after a short shower.
Overall the villa had all the facilities you would need in a good location with an excellent bar to eat at close by however you do need a car to get to local beaches and I would probably say it is not suitable for under fives. If you stay in the summer the pool will probably be warmer and therefore you will be able to use it. A good villa with some positives but not exactly as it was listed on the site.

Dear guest,

We are glad you had a pleasant stay at the house!

Thank you very much indeed in particular for taking the time to review your stay. Any feedback on our guests experience during their stay helps us to better understanding what we could do to further improve our guests experience at the house and is thus truly welcome!

In response to your feedback we will from now on generally recommend that the house should only be rented by guests with children that are able to swim. We have meanwhile also addressed the problem you mentioned regarding the wet bacthroom floor and hopefully it will not occur again in the future.

Once again thank you very much for staying with us and we hope to be able to welcome you back on another occasion!

“chill out time”

just stayed with my partner at the Casa Julia villa, all i can say is the villa is lovely the location needs a car but its within reach of a lot of wonderful beaches and destinations.
a great chill out villa with small pool to unwind in, the only draw backs i can give you is the pine tree needs cutting back because of all the needles its dropping, and the tv is Spanish, although you don't go to watch television but on the odd occasion you may want to.
if you want a laid back chill out time holiday then this villa will meet that need,if you want the best info on places and restaurants then ask warren the pool guy he will put you in the right direction.its two minutes from a couple of bars/restaurants and local shop.
all in all worth a stay,we will remember it for all the good reasons, and not the minor niggles.
