“Wonderful holiday in brilliant house”

We had the most wonderful holiday in September in this brilliant house. The owners have renovated and furnished it so that it is really comfortable and well equipped, with everything you could need for a relaxing holiday. The pool is lovely - warm and uses a non-chlorine system so no more sore eyes; the two terraces meant we had sun or shade whenever we wanted; the views were amazing; the village is small and friendly, and the area excellent for exploring. The owners were really helpful and gave us great tips on where to visit, but they gave us our own privacy and space as well. We rented a car and visited the stunning gorges of the Ardeche and the Tarn, the Cevennes mountains, the Pont du Gard and wonderful Nimes – a really lovely city. The many mediaeval villages in the area meant we never ran out of interesting and beautiful places to visit. We would definitely visit again.

“best holiday accommodation ever”
Reviewed 23 August 2015 for a stay in August 2015

Our expectations of the property were high based on the fabulous reviews but they were totally exceeded. The best villa we have ever rented. Perfectly laid out for our family, tastefully decorated and very clean. The pool was amazing, views breathtaking and hosts exceptional.
I thoroughly recommend this property, you will not regret it.
Beautiful village, friendly locals and an excellent base to visit the wonderful local area. Our hosts gave us lots of invaluable advice and insider tips. They were very helpful, inviting and welcoming yet never intrusive.
We were very sad to leave and hope to go back.

“Comfortable, relaxing and hugely welcoming - who could ask for more?”

Le Nid du Moineau lies at the back of John and Suzanne's property, right in the heart of Brouzet. The hosts are wonderfully welcoming - though they are also careful to give one enough space too. Le Nid is very well equipped and very comfortable indeed. The balcony is blissfull after a long day in the sun and the pool is just the right size. Many interesting trips are possible with Le Nid as one's base - we visited Le Pont du Gard, Nimes night market, Uzes and several of the beautiful hilltop towns nearby, such as Lussan. All I can tell you is that we would most definitely come here again. It was a delight and all we hoped for in a holiday.

Brouzet les Ales is a quaint town, and you really feel as if you are living the village life. The local park is right across the street and the bread maker just as close. The pool on the rental property is private, well maintained, and a very refreshing experience after a hot July day of sight seeing. We highly recommend it!

“So good we went there twice.”
Reviewed 27 July 2015 for a stay in June 2015

It's always a risk revisiting somewhere you had such a wonderful time as we did on our last visit, will it live up to the ultra high expectations? Fortunately the risk paid off and we had another fabulous time. This was our second stay at Le Nid, and we're already planning our third. John and Suzanne's hospitality was just as fantastic as on our first stay. Each of their suggestions of places to visit; Caverne du Pont d'Arc, restaurant at St. Just, beach restaurant Effet Mer, we're all spot on. We would particularly recommend a visit to the replica of the 36000 year old caves at Pont d'Arc.
John and Suzanne also introduced us to a couple of local wine producers, we are still enjoying the samples we brought back.
Facilities at le Nid are excellent. It was 35°C during our stay, so dipping into the pool was a welcome relief. It's ideally situated in a quiet village but with in an easy drive of the Camargue, the beautiful Cevenne mountains and the Ardeche gorge, although it's difficult to tear yourself away from le Nid

The accommodation was absolutely perfect, the hosts could not have been more helpful and friendlier.
The pool was fantastic and enjoyed by all especially the children. The local restaurant was great value.

Felt ever so secure in the property. We were even given wine and beer on arrival. Would definitely go back.

Brouzet les Ales is well placed between Uzes and Alés. Really easy and fast roads everywhere. The immediate village is lovely, the mountain behind is spectacular.
We arrived to a lovely welcome, fantastic meal, and well stocked Gite. The latter has everything, really well thought out. Lovely pool, great terrace to sit and watch the village life below. Highly recommended.
