Had lunch here today. Have been before for coffee and cake which was excellent. Lunch today was good. Fish and chips tasty, meat platter very enjoyable. Kids loved their chicken goujons and said chips were the best they had ever had! Only critisiam would be portions are not great and considering the meat platter was £8.50 I would have expected more bread than the 2 thin slices I got.Still a good time was had by all.

Dropped in for coffee and cake after walking at Keilder Water. Bright and airy, comfortable soft chairs and good music playing. Coffee and cake were very nice and service was very good. Plenty of magazines and pictures to look at. The menu shows a good variety of hot food so it's a shame we couldn't have come back for an evening meal. Sadly it closed at 4.30.
If we are in the area again, we'll go there for lunch.

Popped in for a bit of lunch and we weren't disappointed. The food is cooked to order - and the sandwiches come with proper chips, not frozen, which is a rarity these days. Cakes are devine - especially the courgette, pecan and cinnamon slice. Not too pricey for the quality either. Would definitely go back.

stopped for cuppa after a days walking on Tarset Bastle trail. Liked the friendly atmosphere and the cakes even more (needed a doggie bag as couldn't finish all).
