Reviewed 3 November 2012

Some years ago the Colwyn Bay Tourist offices was shut-down,so the nearest offering is the Rhos-on-sea one.Its NOT run,as I understand it,by the Tourist board, but by a charitable concern,so its volunteer-run,very friendly and helpful staff.i found them able to offer guidance on local events etc.Its a bit of a cluttered shop and its not evident at once that it is a tourist office. But its a resourse

The Tourist Information Centre on Rhos-on-Sea promenade is run by volunteers from the Happy Faces charity in exchange for which they get to run a shop from the premises. The shop mainly stocks cheap souveniers but the money they take goes to a good cause as Happy Faces raises money to help local disabled children. And the volunteers all seem quite clued up so you'll get good information if that's what you need.
