If you do not expect any luxury and enjoy living in someone else's home, this might be the right place for you. The owners are very friendly people. We had the opportunity to meet the couple and their adult son, because they were still trying to prepare their property for our stay when we arrived. We met the son again when he delivered the bedlinen later that evening. They were very helpful. They explained how to reset the power when it trips and how to switch between warm water geezers, information that we used during our stay. They warned us about a sleeper couch that we could not use because the mechanism of the couch broke and also, for the same reason to not use some of the outdoor furniture. The double bed in the main bedroom was quite comfortable, but unfortunately the mattresses in the other bedroom disappointed. We did enjoy meals outside in the garden, in a spot from where you could see the ocean in the distance. The nearby beach is beautiful and quiet, but parking is very limited and walking from the property to the beach is quite challenging, especially if you want to take an umbrella, food and liquids for the day and especially going up and down the steep embankment that you have to traverse to reach the beach.
For those who love nature, peace and tranquillity, this is a beautiful place. Very nice comfortable house, with huge terrace and beautiful garden and a long view over the sea. The house is set in gentle, rolling countryside with vineyards, and the two beaches at the end of the road were empty (in May). Close by are sites of historical interest and the inland countrside is mountainous with charming villages.
