took my elderly inlaws for a long weekend to seaescape, the apartment was fantastic, everything you could possibily need was supplied, the apartment was very clean and has great views from the main bedroom and the lounge with floor to ceiling glass .eventhough the weather was not at its best it was nice to sit out on the sheltered balcony for breakfast and the rest of the day,it was particularly suited for my inlaws as there was a lift from the secure carpark and then a few steps along the corridor to the apartment.everything was great.
We stayed here for a week and what a wonderful apartment it is , fantastic views , great sized rooms and ideal location .
We would definitely return here , the apartment has everything you would need .
We had a wonderful week here. It was our first time to Westward Ho! and the owners had done everything they could to make the place a great place from which to base your week's trips.
The apartment sleeps 6 - a twin, bunks and a double. Everything was immaculately clean and provided/included even beach towels.
There's hairdryers, a utility room incl a freezer and tumble dryer, a reserved underground car parking space maybe as much as 10 metres from the front door.
The balcony has a drop onto the rocks below which you wander through at low tide. The views and sunsets are beautiful and ever changing.
The town is a kind of classy, slightly understated seaside resort. Great surfing beach, arcades and go karts, restaurants and the like are all nice - not too posh but not too down at heel either.
Local day trips to Lundy, Woolacombe/Ilfracombe, Bude and loads of other places are all easy.
It's a lovely, peaceful spot and we will be back.
Fabulous apartment with everything we needed, gorgeous views and sunsets that took my breath away. Great beach only 4 minutes walk away and the pebble ridge and burrows. Nearby cafes and Restaurants and take aways so no need to stay in and cook. There is a small Tesco and Co-Op nearby which stocked most items. My husband used his mobility scooter all week and it fitted in the lift and all corridors and there was room outside the front door to park it. We visited Tapely Park Gardens and Marwood Hill Gardens and had a wonderful lunch in Instow. Will definately return.
