“Abysmal”
Reviewed 9 May 2014

The service is abrupt and borderline rude. The fish was dripping in grease, the chips passable, and was ill afterwards. Nice view though.

“Good chips to eat on the sea front”
Reviewed 1 May 2014

Nice chips, tasty to eat on the sea front. Good service. Well presented in box and put your own salt and pepper on.

“Great Fish & Chips”
Reviewed 24 April 2014

Loved the fish and chips but the Cornish Pasty was not at all good. I opted for the pasty because I thought it might be a 'proper' Cornish pasty, but it wasn't.

“Typical nice local chippy....”
Reviewed 19 April 2014

We had chips from here a few times which were always good, the cod was perfect and crispy one time, the next visit it had too thick batter so it was all claggy inside. The pea fritter was very dry inside and crumbly, a new thing to me, not sure what they're meant to be like?! Not pleasant to eat though. The curry sauce and gravy are runny and so don't have much flavour - I'm sure these can easily be improved. The lady serving was very friendly. They have some seating outside and a lovely view of the sea.

The best Fish & Chips ever! Crispy batter, golden chips. Friendly staff, and great owners. immaculate premisses and fantastic view what more would one want. The Golden fry is the best fish and chip shop I have ever been too and when we are back in the area I shall it will be the first place we go.
