I had the pleasure of visiting Tracey and John's beautifully renovated house in Garfagnana. The area is one of the most beautiful parts of Italy and is coplemented by the lovely local food and drink, as well as the wonderful hosts in John and Tracey.
The transformation of Johnny and Tracie's house in the Italian hills is astounding. Its been a few years hard work and planning which even involved driving their small car to Italy stuffed with trinkets for the house. Knowing the décor and vibe in their London pad, this place will be a pleasure to stay in. I am keen to get over there and sample the mountains, food and the local wine.
What a wonderful job John and Tracey have done! Beautifully restoring this holiday home to its rustic glory. Knowing J&T as I do, I knew they would do the place justice, and they have absolutely hit the spot. Beautiful location, wonderful views, welcoming locals and amenities and now a homely, relaxing haven to enjoy it all from. What more do any of us need for a relaxing break?
It has been great to see all of Tracey and John's hard work come to fruition with the restoration of Casa Norma. Whilst retaining its original features they have managed to create a stunning property fit for the perfect holiday.
I cannot wait to go to Casa Norma myself to take in the views and explore everything the local area has to offer including some of the finest wine one could hope for!
I spent time in this beautiful part of Tuscany with Tracey and John back in 2014. We visited the house and on return, they decided to buy it. Since then they've devoted so much of their time, love and energy into making it a beautiful home. I can personally vouch for the stunning views, breathtaking location and genuinely amazing restaurants nearby. I've never experienced Italian food like it! I would absolutely recommend Casa Norma - and know that Tracey and John would help you every step of the way to plan your trip. It's something really special that I know you'd fall in love with. I just can't wait to go back!
It has been such a pleasure to have been part of the journey with Tracey and John creating Casa Norma.
Since buying the property, we've seen how hard they have both worked in creating a home from home - choosing beautiful furniture, soft furnishing, proper kitchen utensils; to ensure that guests will have the best possible experience.
It is no accident that Casa Norma is situated close to fantastic bars and restaurants. Tracey and John know good food and wine and have discovered and sampled local hostelries in the area to ensure that all who visit will be immediately guided to wonderful places that will suit their tastes.
We cannot wait to go to Casa Norma in the Spring and know that we are going to have the comforts of home, beautiful views, wonderful walks... all washed down with the best local wine.
Well done and good luck to you both - we promise to review again after our Spring visit.
