We meant to have a long walk for the exercise, from Highcliffe to Mudeford and maybe lunch at Avon beach. It turned out to be the best day of the year so far and so decided to turn around and spend our lunchtime on the terrace at Pebbles.
We have eaten here on a number of occasions and have never been disappointed. This turned out to be no different experience. We had the lunch menu of the day and basked in the sunshine enjoying the view across to the Needles.
This is a great value restaurant that serves top quality food with excellent service.
Well done Pebbles - again.

Dinner for three was a delight for everyone - well cooked, well presented and served with an excellent wine. Both the seafood and the local meat were in first-class condition and when I opted for a different vegetable from the one on the menu it was provided without extra charge.

Having just visited this restaurant for Sunday lunch I am a little disappointed. The starters were all fine However I ordered the stuffed chicken which arrived very overdone, the breadcrumb coating was very dark - just shy of actually being burnt. The chicken was dry and the Cheese centre was just non existent. My meal arrived with coleslaw and four, yes four, chips!! Now come on when you are paying these prices that's unacceptable. We ordered more chips which never arrived and they brought out the wrong size and choice of wine. The service Was Quite good but not outstanding. The desserts Were good. At the end of the meal when we pointed out the chips had not arrived we just got an "oh" - no one bothered to check during the meal if everything was ok. In all honesty I probably wouldn't return it was very overpriced and Im afraid I've had better In many of the gastro pubs around the county for less. In this day and age when competition is so high Your food, service, and overall dining experience really does have to be hitting the mark to justify the price.

Positives: The hotel is nicely decorated, is in a nice location, has good parking, and we enjoyed our breakfast very much. The bed was very comfortable.

Negatives: Construction: The walls are paper-thin. We were awakened in the middle of the night by passionate neighbors, and again in the morning. It felt as though we could hear everything. Bathroom: Built in a sloping room, the shower suffered from poor water pressure and was impossible to use due to the extremely low roof. Cleanliness: There was significant soiling on the decorative elements in our room-pillows and a throw. Not nice.

We stayed in the Penthouse for a birthday treat. The room was superb and the view amazing. However breakfast wasn't available until 10am by which time we were well past the time we wanted to eat. The smoked salmon was also incredibly salty. If they could sort this out they 'd get a 6!

Stayed here for the night after an evening meal with family , stayed in a standard room cant comment on the penthouse room but calling it luxury would be an exaggeration , it was clean and functional with a slightly dated decor and bathroom but luxury it most certainly is not !!
Its fine to crash in for a sleep but with non existant views and early morning crashing bottles into the nearby bins peaceful it most certainly is not , so fine for a nights crash (comfy bed) but for longer not sure !
Good continental breakfast but a bit of a struggle to eat in your room as space is at a premium

We arrived for a lunch expecting great food as we had been here before.
What a dissapointment!
Uncooked patatoes, burnt fish and very overpriced.
When we raised our concerns there was just a small sorry and a shrigger of shoulders.
We will never go there again and we will tell all our friends to avoid this poor diner.
