Stopped here by getting off the blue route bus on the New Forest Tours. We took a stroll along the beach and stopped here for food before hopping back on the bus. We both had a cooked breakfast, with a vegetarian version available. It was a lovely day and we had great views across the water. The place has a friendly atmosphere and it was nice to see so many well behaved dogs around .... This is a place where old and young alike stop for a break. Beware of the birds who are always after food, one actually flew in and tried to steal a fried egg.

This has to be one of the best cafes in the area. We often go. Its great for kids and families. If you have a dog you can take that too.

Food is good. Its a good value for money and relaxed.

Bit slow on the service but really good fish and chips. The burger on the other hand was bland and just chucked into a bun! Not as good as the cafe at all. Food was hot though and chips were excellent.

We saw the thunder clouds moving over from bournemouth so quickly retreated to the nearby cafe .how lucky we were . Splendid cream teas , excellent and monstrous toasted tea cakes and friendly staff .
Well worth popping in ...and ice cream too .

Stayed in Barton On Sea for a week and visited a few times for excellent breakfasts, great tea and snacks and a very nice meal. Staff were very friendly and were understanding when our 18 month old was being a bit messy with her food. The restaurant was nicely decorated with a great garden area, plenty of high chairs and the binoculars for sea views were a nice touch. Food was basic, tasty and well cooked, arrived fairly quickly and the staff were polite and attentive. Drinks and food were not inexpensive, but given the location and the probable cost of running an older building with character were very reasonably priced.
